<![CDATA[Technology helps us to get information in a short time. With an internet connection, we can easily get any information. But there is an emergency literacy problem in Indonesia. The question that arises in the minds of researcher is, "How could this happen, a country with 2nd largest number of libraries in the world experiencing a literacy emergency?" However, it turns out that what is meant by literacy is more than just reading and writing. Literacy is the ability to interpret information critically so that everyone can access science and technology as an effort to improve the quality of life. Therefore, it must be realized the importance of the role of Christian educators in contributing to improving students’ literacy skills in order to build an understanding of the biblical worldview. The researcher tries to use the Back Design Model to improve students' literacy skill. The research method is descriptive qualitative method. Subjects were students from Christian Religious Education and Social Sciences study programs in the Basic Science courses. The researcher applies the Backward Design Model with the stages: Determining Learning Goals and Targets (determining objectives), Assessment Planning and Learning Activity Planning. These stages are proven to be able to improve the literacy skills of students who take Basic Sciences courses, namely in increasing reading interest, giving awareness to students to choose unreliable sources and honing students' abilities to criticize problems assigned by lecturers on the basis of on biblical Christian worldview.]]>

<![CDATA[The pandemic caused by Covid 19 has made changes in learning. Previously, students came to school to study in class and meet directly with the teachers. Now, learning has been done online, where students learn from home. During this online learning, there were several problems related to discipline which caused the learning atmosphere to be less conducive. Based on these problems, the aim of the research is the application of the habituation method by Christian teachers can help students familiarize themselves to Christian values in applying discipline during online learning. The research method is descriptive qualitative research method by taking data based on observations and teaching results during the implementation of the Field Experience Practicum and literature study. The research shows that the application of habituation methods can shape student discipline during online learning. Therefore, it is concluded that the habituation method can be applied and suggested to the teachers in helping students have noble character through habituation in applying student discipline during online learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Learning discipline is needed to create effective and conducive learning conditions to achieve learning objectives. The problem of student discipline is a topic that teachers encounter quite often, especially during the current online learning period. Violation of classroom rules in online learning makes teachers confused about what kind of consequences will be given to students. This disciplinary violation needs to be followed up by the teacher. The sinful nature in the student causes him to deviate from God's truth, and Christian teachers have the responsibility of bringing students back to God's truth. However, the disciplinary action that the teacher gives must be in accordance with the principles of discipline according to God's Word and bring shalom in the classroom community. As a solution, the teacher takes a communication and relational approach that includes six methods for disciplining PAUD students. This approach is based on a disciplinary principle that refers a biblical Christian viewpoint. The teacher acts as a servant and shepherd, that is, the teacher becomes a living example who guides students to return to God's truth. The purpose of this paper is to describe the role of Christian teachers in presenting the Shalom Community in the classroom through disciplinary principles based on literature studies based on a biblical Christian view.]]>

<![CDATA[Kondisi Pandemi telah mengubah sistem pembelajran di Indonesia, pemberlakuan belajar dari rumah membuat budaya belajar yang baru bagi siswa dan juga menambah peran bagi orang tua. Orang tua diharuskan mendampingi anak-anak mereka belajar dari rumah. Namun tidak semua orang tua dapat mendampingi anak-anak mereka mempelajari materi di sekolah. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan bantuan dari luar untuk mendukung pertumbuhan belajar anak mereka. Bimbingan belajar Delta merupakan salah satu solusi atas permasalahan ini. Bimbingan belajar Delta HKBP Gading serpong merupakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh program studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Pelita Harapan dengan bermitra dengan seksi Pendidikan HKBP Gading serpong. Selama masa pandemi, kegiatan ini dilakukan secara online demi menghindari penyebaran virus corona yang sedang merebak. Proses belajar mengajar dilakukan melalui aplikasi Whatsapp, Zoom, atau google classroom, tergantung kondisi jaringan dan perangkat yang dimiliki oleh tutor dan siswa. Pembelajaran dilakukan setiap hari sabtu dengan durasi 90 menit. Pada akhir tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dilakukan survey kepada siswa, orang tua dan tutor untuk melihat hasil dari kegiatan ini. Dari hasil survey diketahui bahwa bimbingan belajar Delta dapat membantu siswa untuk memahami materi mata pelajaran yang sulit bagi mereka. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan sebagian besar siswa yang mendapatkan nilai dengan kategori baik dan baik sekali untuk mata pelajaran IPA, Bahasa inggris dan Matematika. Mahasiswa yang menjadi tutor juga merasa bahwa kegiatan ini mendukung pembentukan profil lulusan dalam diri mereka.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstrak Pembelajaran online learning masih terus berlanjut dibeberapa sekolah di Indonesia, meskipun sudah banyak sekolah-sekolah yang menerapkan pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas. Dalam proses pembelajaran tentu bisa saja siswa kurang memahami materi yang dijelaskan oleh guru. Hal yang sama juga terjadi pada proses pembelajaran online, terbatasnya kemampuan guru dalam melihat anak-anak yang belum paham serta komunikasi yang kurang lancar bisa menjadi pemicu siswa kurang memahami materi. Proses belajar online dapat berjalan dengan baik, tentu tidak lepas dari kerjasama guru dengan orang tua. Namun, kebanyakan orang tua adalah orang tua yang bekerja dan tidak sedikit juga orang tua yang sudah lupa dengan pelajaran sekolah. Kesulitan memahami materi pelajaran sekolah juga dirasakan Anak-anak Jemaat HKBP Binong permai. Orang tua juga mengaku kesulitan mengajari anak-anaknya karena sudah lupa dengan materi sekolah. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk membantu siswa-siswi jemaat HKBP Binong Permai memahami materi sekolah yang belum dipahami secara utuh. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan tiga tahapan yaitu, persiapan, pelaksanaan bimbingan belajar dan evaluasi. Dari hasil kuisioner yang dibagikan menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran bimbingan belajar online ZETA memberikan dampak yang baik bagi siswa-siswi jemaat HKBP Binong. <![CDATA[Methods in educational research in UPH Teachers College is a course that prepares Teachers College students to be thinkers, researchers, and competent writers based on a biblical Christian worldview. The gap the researchers came across was a need for this course to be integrated with the biblical Christian worldview to develop research with integrity. The researchers then designed a module that was used in methodology class, and the method used is a descriptive qualitative, involving 110 students from 4 majors who took this course in the odd semester of 2021. This research's purpose is to elaborate on the usage of this module which is significant in helping the students to comprehend the biblical Christian worldview. The research results show that 96.36% of the students stated that the module equipped them to have a biblical Christian worldview for doing research. The results of the usage of modules show that students can conduct research based on a Christian worldview with integrity. Things for future improvement are the feedback and motivational words, attention to the layout by providing a navigation feature, and fun learning concepts using formal, popular, and communicative Indonesian language. A two-way dialogue style can make the module more interactive and an addition to learning videos made by the lecturers.]]>

<![CDATA[Online learning during a pandemic is a challenge for lecturers in trying to manage interesting learning and can equip students to become skilled people, and able to face the challenges in the future. The practice encountered in class shows online learning that is less active, interactive, and fun, and students who are less enthusiastic, initiative, and responsive. The solution provided by researchers is the application of the flipped classroom model in managing online learning. The aim of the research is to explain the importance of the role of lecturers in managing online learning and to explain lecturers' efforts to make online learning effective using the flipped classroom model. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative by utilizing the results of observations, assessment results and questionnaires filled out by students supported by literature studies. The implementation of the flipped classroom model was carried out in Curriculum Studies, Learning Methods, and Curriculum Review courses in January - April 2021. The results of the study showed that the flipped classroom model was able to help lecturers manage online learning. In a more effective application, lecturers are advised to get to know students more holistically and continue to develop themselves, so that they can support good learning management.]]>

<![CDATA[Student activeness is one of the main factors determining the success of learning. The learning strategy used by the teacher will greatly determine student activity in class. Mistakes in choosing a learning strategy will make students passive in class. The passive attitude of students will make them unable to learn optimally. Therefore, it is important for teachers to design learning that can facilitate students being actively involved in every learning process. Not only that, it is important for every Christian educator to design active and meaningful learning so that students also get the opportunity to admire God in the learning process. The strategy taken is the Problem Based Learning strategy with Biblical Christian insights because the main goal is not only for students to be active but also for students to admire God more through the concepts learned in class. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of Problem Based Learning strategy with Biblical Christian insights in order to motivate student activeness. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The research was conducted in one of the Christian schools in Tangerang which was lasted for one month. The results showed that the application of Problem Based Learning strategies with Biblical Christian insights was carried out through five stages, namely orienting, organizing, assisting problem investigation, developing and presenting student work, analyzing and evaluating the problem-solving process, which successfully motivated student activeness in learning with the topic of expansion.]]>

<![CDATA[Kesulitan belajar menjadi salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi hasil belajar siswa di sekolah. Faktor internal yang memengaruhi kesulitan belajar adalah kemampuan siswa itu sendiri serta faktor eksternal adalah lingkungan siswa belajar, kondisi keluarga, strategi dan metode mengajar yang guru lakukan. Salah satu usaha yang bisa dilakukan untuk menolong siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar adalah dengan memberikan bantuan atau bimbingan belajar.Namun, tidak semua orang tua punya perekonomian yang baik, sama halnya dengan siswa-siswi desa Kampung Sabi. Dari hasil analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan kepada siswa-siswi kampung Sabi, banyak siswa-siswi yang membutuhkan bantuan belajar, khususnya bantuan belajar mata pelajaran matematika. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk membantu siswa-siswi yang mengalami kesulitan belajar sehingga memberikan dampak yang baik bagi hasil belajar siswa-siswi kampung Sabi. Metode pelaksanaan PkM ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yakni, persiapan, pelaksanaan kegiatan dan terakhir evaluasi. Data yang dievaluasi adalah hasil belajar UTS dan UAS siswa-siswi. Dari hasil UTS dan UAS siswa-siswi menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan belajar zeta berdampak kepada hasil belajar siswa. Rata-rata nilai siswa mengalami peningkatan meskipun tidak terlalu signifikan.]]>

<![CDATA[Pembelajaran hybrid adalah pembelajaran yang memadukan pembelajaran tatap muka (PTM) dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ). Sistem pembelajaran ini banyak dilakukan pasca pandemic covid-19 untuk memaksimalkan proses pembelajaran. Bimbingan belajar (Bimbel) Delta HKBP Gading Serpong adalah kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang dilakukan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika, Universitas Pelita Harapan, bermitra dengan HKBP Gading Serpong. Bimbingan belajar ini diberikan untuk melayani anak-anak jemaat yang mengalami kesulitan untuk mengikuti materi Pelajaran di sekolah karena kurangnya pengetahuan dasar saat pandemi. Bimbingan belajar ini telah berjalan sejak tahun 2019 dan telah mengalami tiga tahapan sistem pembelajaran. Tahun ajaran 2019 bimbel delta menerapkan sistem pembelajaran tatap muka, pada tahun ajaran 2020 dan tahun ajaran 2021 bimbel delta tetap berjalan dengan menerapkan sistem pembelajaran online menyesuaikan dengan kondisi pandemic covid 19, dan pada tahun ajaran 2022 dilakukan sistem pembelajaran hybrid. Pembelajaran hybrid dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa untuk tetap belajar dalam berbagai situasi. Artikel ini akan membahas dampak sistem pembelajaran hybrid terhadap proses pembelajaran di bimbel delta hkbp gading serpong yang disajikan secara kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari daftar kehadiran dan hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan menggunakan form online. Berdasarkan hasil survey di akhir tahun ajaran diketahui bahwa semua siswa yang belajar di bimbel memiliki nilai yang baik di akhir semester. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan Bimbel delta dapat mendukung siswa untuk mengikuti pembelajaran di sekolah. Jika dilihat dari sisi tutor yang mengajar, system pembelajaran hybrid memperkaya dan mendukung tutor dalam pencapaian profil lulusan UPH.]]>
