Abstract

Humans as individual beings do not only mean the unity of body and soul, but will become a unique person with a personality style, including their abilities. Thus, humans as individuals are separate persons, different from other persons. Humans as individual beings are humans as individuals who have their own characteristics. In facing their natural environment, humans must live in companionship with other humans and this association gives them soul satisfaction. Tat Twam Asi as a moral teaching, always prioritizes love, devotion is willing to sacrifice unconditionally. Tat Twam Asi is a concept of the supreme teachings of Hinduism that teaches humans to always live in harmony together in the social sphere, helping each other, honing, loving, and nurturing. Abstract

Media is an indispensable component in the learning process, especially Hinduism, in this case the media is used to transmit messages from the sender (communicator / educator / media) to the recipient (communicant / student) in order to stimulate thoughts, feelings, attention or the will of students so that later it will encourage the learning process. The purpose of this study was to analyze the theo-aesthetic value of Dewata Nawa Sanga's wall chart learning media using qualitative research methods. The conclusion of the research shows that the Dewata Nawa Sanga wall chart is a learning medium that is full of theo-aesthetic values, which means that the media contains elements of theology (knowledge of divinity) framed with aesthetic values (art / beauty of pictures and colors) which aim for students who see to be interested in learning it as well as clarifying the definition of verbal with visual media. Dewata Nawa Sanga, also known as Nawa Dewata (nine divine figures), are nine divine figures who are worshiped as guardians of the nine cardinal directions in the teachings of Hinduism in Bali. In the world of Hindu religious education, especially regarding the Gods, Nawa Sanga has a very important role which is intended to shape students into human beings who believe and fear God Almighty and have noble character.

Abstract

Upanisad sebagai salah satu kitab suci dalam agama Hindu banyak mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter religius yang tentunya sangat relevan untuk dipelajari, dipahami, dan dipraktekkan dalam menjalankan hidup sebagai makhluk sosial dewasa ini, dalam upaya meningkatkan wawasan serta karakter yang postif bagi masyarakat Hindu pada khususnya agar terwujud sumber daya manusia yang unggul dalam aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Beberapa ajaran dalam upanisad antara lain; ajaran tentang Ketuhanan, Atman, Karma Phala, Reinkarnasi (Punarbhawa), dan Moksa (Bersatunya atman dengan Brahman). Selain sebagai kitab suci yang mengandung ajaran spiritual, secara filosofis Upanisad juga merupakan sistematika pendidikan yang berorientasi pada disiplin sadhana spiritual yang bertujuan mewujudkan sisya/ siswa yang berkarakter religius. Dalam menanamkan karakter religius, semua guru dalam Upanisad secara gamblang mengajarkan pengetahuan rohani berkenaan dengan Tuhan, hakikat sang diri, alam dan sejenisnya. Pembelajaran yang demikian, bukan berarti menggambarkan ajaran yang bersifat rahasia dan terbatas, tetapi sengaja pengetahuan tersebut selalu dimunculkan sebab tujuan dari pembelajaran yang sebenarnya adalah sisya/siswa dapat memahami hakikat diri dalam hubungannya dengan Tuhan dan alam.
