Abstract

The aims of research are to find the effect of the peanut compost in decreasing TPH value of soil polluted petroleum and to know the optimal compost concentration to increase the N concentration. This research used the group randomized design with one treatment, namely concentration of peanut compost. Results of research showed that concentration of N, P, K elements in peanut compost were 1.15 %, 0.10 % and 0.73 %, respectively. The peanut compost with concentration of 385 g/kg soil, 500 g/kg soil, and 636 g/kg soil gave effect to decrease TPH value and to increase the N elements in soil polluted petroleum.

Abstract

Salah satu desa di Kecamatan Sugihwaras Kabupaten Bojonegoro yang merupakan wilayah yang sedang berkembang yaitu Desa Drenges dengan tingkat ekonomi warganya yang menengah kebawah. Untuk meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi keluarga dari warga, maka diperlukan suatu pelatihan keterampilan dalam upaya pemberdayaan ekonomi warga desa tersebut. Pelatihan pembuatan produk minuman nutrasetikal merupakan upaya yang sesuai dengan potensi masyarakat serta sumber daya di Desa Drenges. Pelatihan yang diberikan meliputi pembuatan minuman nutrasetikal dari rimpang jahe, kunyit dan temulawak. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan warga desa Drenges dalam mengolah herbal yang banyak dijumpai di daerah tersebut sehingga dapat memiliki dampak kesehatan dan peningkatan ekonomi keluarga. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 33 orang ibu rumah tangga di Desa Drenges. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pendekatan partisipasif dengan metode pendampingan pembelajaran orang dewasa atau andragogi. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan pemaparan materi pelatihan oleh tim pelaksana pengabdian masyarakan dan dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan praktek pembuatan minuman nutrasetikal. Kegiatan ini diakhiri dengan penyampaian kesimpulan serta pemberian angket. Sekitar 80% peserta merasa meningkat pengetahuan dan ketrampilannya serta 90 % nya merasa bahwa pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat. Luaran kegiatan ini berupa produk minuman nutrasetikal yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat di Desa Drenges khususnya dari segi meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga.

Abstract

Infectious disease is the type of disease that most people suffer from in developing countries, including Indonesia. One of the causes of infectious diseases is Candida albicans. Lingzhi mushroom (Ganoderma Lucidum) is one of the plants in Indonesiawhich has potential as an antimicrobial. This study aims to determine the antimicrobial ability of lingzhi mushrooms (Ganoderma lucidum) ethanol extract against Candida albicans. The research method uses soxhlet methods. The results showed bacterialinhibition zones at concentrations of 20 μg/ml (8.3 mm) in the inactive category, 40 μg/ml (9.3 mm) with the inactive category, 60 μg/ml (10.5 mm) with the category less active, 80 μg / ml (11.4 mm) with the active category, and 100 μg/ml (12.6 mm) in thevery active category. It can be concluded that the extract of Ganoderma Lucidum has an effect to Candida albicans bacteria. Based on observational data analyzed with the Oneway Anova test, it obtained a significant value of .000. This showed that there were differences in inhibition zones formed from various concentrations. Based on research antimicrobial activity of lingzhi mushroom ethanol extract (Ganoderma lucidum) used soxhlet method had an effect to inhibitory zone of Candida albicans. Abstract

Tubers included in the family Araceae contain a lot of calcium oxalate. High calcium oxalate consumption in the body can cause health problems. One of these examples are in the kidneys. Tubers with high levels of calcium oxalate, if immersed in acidic solutions, calcium oxalate levels can be reduced. In this research, immersion of porang flour in starfruit juice, lime juice and vinegar with the aim that the content of calcium oxalate can be reduced. Calcium oxalate levels were analyzed by Permanganometric Titration Method. The results of this study indicate that acidic solutions can reduce calcium oxalate levels in porang flour. Calcium oxalate levels were analyzed by permanganometric titration method. The results of this study indicate that acid solution can reduce calcium oxalate levels in porang flour. The 7% Averrhoa bilimbi juice solution was able to reduce calcium oxalate levels by 62.68%. The 5% lime juice solution gaves better results than the Averrhoa bilimbi juice solution. The 5% lime juice solution could reduce calcium oxalate levels by 65.94%. The biggest decrease in calcium oxalate levels were shown in porang flour after soaking it with 20% vinegar acid solution, which amounted to 90.27%.
