Abstract

Technological developments in industry 4.0 which lead to digital technology create new ideas for companies to take strategic steps in business processes. One of them is utilizing electronic commerce. This study uses a qualitative analysis approach which uses secondary data. The methodology used is conceptual review by gathering data and information that are interrelated. The information collected is market opportunity, consumer behavior and electronic commerce technology as an innovation in marketing. This research is expected to create potential market opportunities. The marketing strategy used is the strategy of utilizing technology, market opportunities, marketing strategies, designing consumer knowledge, creating consumer interfaces, increasing customer information creating marketing programs, and evaluating marketing programs using technology and information and program evaluation.

Abstract

National sustainable development needs to take into account the utilization of environmental natural resources for future generations. For the community, environment is a space or a place to stay for that need to be more preserved than utilized. Collaboration between knowledge of environment and preservation with ICT knowledge can be developed into a management system which is environmental knowledge management systems. Approach on the efficiency and effectiveness of ICT, which include variable timing, capacity, relevance,accessibility, flexibility, accuracy and reliability, can be used to explore the success determinants of communitybased environmental conservation as a central participant. Analysis method of this study uses the Core Processof KM consisting knowledge identification, knowledge aqcuition, knowledge development, knowledge sharing and distribution, knowledge utilization, and knowledge retention. Menawhile, the design method uses objectorientedbased approach (OOAD) that contains the UML diagrams, followed by evaluation and verification of test results of the e-learning application prototype which will be measured by IT Balanced Scorecard through four perspectives, namely: (1) government contribution; (2) society orientation, (3) excellent operation, (4)future orientation. With the formulation of the critical success factors is then developed a virtual learning model, in order to raise public awareness of the importance of environmental preservation. The result is a prototype model of environmental KMS application or e-learning which will be piloted in a few areas, especially in Jabodetabek.

Abstract

Evaluation of Knowledge Management System (KMS) is performed to determine the state of KM Portal and provide suggestions to improve the benefits and usability for employee and the company. The evaluation analysis of KMS uses factor analysis to determine the factors that influence user awareness in using KM Portal of Kompas Gramedia. The analysis shows three factors: the quality of KM Portal and user support; user participation; processes and procedures. All factors produced a model that can be used for the control of KM Portal. In accordance with the data processing, the current state of KM Portal is enough. This situation has not yet met the standards that company desires so the company needs further development to obtain a perfect score.

Abstract

Green Base transceiver station (BTS) or known as remote BTS is a special BTS with IP technology-based that has a small capacity and takes low power consumption with standard features suitable for use in rural areas. BTS utilizes 100% solar energy as a source of energy. The infrastructure Green BTS is composed of high-tech devices which is able to save energy, environmentally friendly, small and lightweight. The high rate service calls and SMS on green BTS is caused by the absence of competition telecom operators at a site. The solution to this  problem needs to be done with system dynamics modeling approach with the aim to establish causality (cause and effect) between the variables. The standard target of model pattern which has been changed on system dynamics can be used to demonstrate the behavior of the model between the number of subscribers, the availability of network capacity and ARPU (average revenue per user) on the Green BTS site. On the changed standard target model, the actual revenue is placed as the actual event, the target revenue is as a target; the difference between the actual and target revenue is as gap, gap changes are as the pressure on the target and the corrective action taken against revenue as a corrective action. Based on simulation results, the standard model change targets can be developed by adding two negative loops (balancing loop) as an alternative solution towards the achievement of revenue targets that have been set.

Abstract

The environment is a gift and grace of the Almighty God to man as home to life. In utilizing natural resources to promote human welfare, a sustainable environmental development should be carried out, which cares about the needs of present and future generations. On the other hand, the development of information and communication technology (ICT) grows so fast that can change the way people live and work. Collaboration between the environment and its preservation with ICT knowledge can be developed into an environmental knowledge and management system (E-KMS). An approach to efficiency and effectiveness in ICT which includes variables of timing, capacity, relevance, accessibility, flexibility, accuracy and reliability can be used to explore the determinants of the success of the socialization of community-based environmental conservation as a central participant. The multivariate statistical methods and factor analysis can produce new variables declared as an indicator of research results and model testing.

Abstract

Employee performance has a crucial role in running a company. Thus, efforts to improve employee performance are vital to be conducted and evaluated. The research aimed to assess the Knowledge Management System (KMS) evaluation model implemented at PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) (Persero), a state electricity company, and found the factors and indicators to improve employee performance. The research applied a survey that collected data through a summative evaluation by using a questionnaire. The population in the research was 100 employees in PT PLN (Persero). The sampling technique was a probability, namely purposive sampling. Then, the results were examined using the SPSS program to measure the relationship of the variables under study. The collected data were also analyzed quantitatively using descriptive and inferential statistics. The analysis results show that people, process, and technology positively affect employee performance. Thus, based on the results, it can be concluded that the three main elements of KMS have a positive impact on the performance of the employees of PT PLN (Persero). It is suggested that the company takes care of their people, process, and technology to improve its performance considering the findings. It is expected that the management of PT PLN (Persero) can develop and optimize the factors that affect employee performance in using KMS for sustainable company decisions.
