Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of learning (Problem Based Instruction) on learners at the elementary unit level (elementary school) in one of the schools located in the Pamekasan area. This study is qualitative descriptive, the study subjects are elementary school students as many as 150 students consisting of 78 men and 72 women. Techniques in this study use interviews and questionnaires. Research instruments are with concessioners, as well as data analysis techniques by sampling methods. The results of this study were from 150 students who joined three classes in each class containing 50 people in WhatsApp groups. Known on the interpretation scale is 336 ≤ 307 < 400 which is categorized very well done during the covid-19 pandemic online with WhatsApp from media. This study concludes that the PBI learning model is very suitable to be done at the elementary unit level or elementary school with social media platforms that are WhatsApp connected to their respective class groups (WAG). Abstract

Arabic in the Generation Z era faces significant learning changes along with the development of digital technology and the unique characteristics of this generation known as digital natives . This study aims to identify challenges and opportunities in the Arabic language learning process among Gen Z using a literature review approach to various recent studies. The research method uses a literature review by reviewing 30 articles in several published national journals. The results of the study indicate that the main challenges include low digital literacy among educators, limited technological infrastructure, and the dominance of traditional learning methods that are less attractive to Gen Z. However, on the other hand, there are great opportunities through the use of technology such as social media, interactive learning applications, gamification, and blended learning approaches that can increase motivation and learning participation. This study recommends the need for curriculum development that is adaptive to the needs of Gen Z, digital competency training for teachers, and the integration of digital media that is relevant to the learning styles of the younger generation. By utilizing existing opportunities, Arabic language learning can be more contextual, interesting, and effective for today's generation

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the impact of Problem-Based Instruction (PBI) on elementary school students in the Pamekasan area. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, with 150 elementary school students (78 boys and 72 girls) as participants. Data collection techniques include interviews and questionnaires, while counseling serves as the research instrument. Data analysis utilizes sampling methods. The study reveals that among the 150 students distributed across three classes, each with 50 members in a WhatsApp group, the interpretation scale ranges from 307 to 400, indicating a very good performance during the COVID-19 pandemic online via the WhatsApp platform. The findings suggest that the PBI learning model, when conducted through social media platforms like WhatsApp, is highly suitable for elementary education, providing effective learning experiences for students.
