Bidang pariwisata di Jayapura merupakan suatu industri yang memilikiprospek yang menjanjikan dengan latarbelakangi nilai budaya yangdapat membuatnya berkembang. Penelitian ini membahas tentangtempat-tempat (lokasi) tujuan wisata di Jayapura yang terdapat dalamlatar cerita rakyat Jayapura. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancaradan metode pustaka. Penelitian ini menemukan lima judul cerita rakyatyang berasal dari Jayapura. Latar yang ditemukan adalah TelukYoutefa, Kampung Tobati-Injros, Danau Sentani, Gunung Cycloop,dan Pantai Holtekamp. Tempat-tempat tersebut merupakan lokasitujuan wisata yang ada di Kota dan Kabupaten Jayapura.

This research discuss about the intrinsic unsures that build the scenario was titled Yambin. This scenario had taken from the folklore of Manokwari people with the same title. This drama tells about the girl named Yambin. She lifes with her grandma named Yati. Oneday, they met with a youngman named Kopiori. She and that youngman get married. Then their family gets much problems after that. But all problem can be solved by grandma Yati’s purslane. Finally, they are happy forever.Based from analysist of this scenario, the writer has find that its intrinsic unsures consist of caracterictics, plots, dialogs, epilogs, monologs, prologs, acts, and setting.

Ketika Cinta Bertasbih film is a religious cinema. This film tells about an Al Azhar student named Khairul Azzam, his family in Indonesia and his friend in Cairo. As code mixing is defined as all cases where lexical items and grammatical features from two languanges appear in one sentence, the writer concludes that the characters uses code mixing in their communication. As a study of sociolinguistics, this paper explains on code mixing used by Azzam and his friends who come from all etnics. They had mixed their Indonesian with Javanese, Indonesian and Arabic, Indonesian and English. It is found that the strategy of code mixing mostly used in the drama is insertion.

Folksong is a part of the oral tradition. It was born from the people cultures. Wampasi Wambarek is a folksong from Biak’s people. It consists of eight lyrics. This research tells about Wampasi Wambarek folksong. This research discusses about its meaning on that folksong using the hermeneutics approach. The method of this reseach is a qualitative description. It is a library research. Its data was collected by reading teks and note recording technique. The hermeneutics approach was used by researcher’s interpretation. So it was analyzed according by the words on its folksong lyrics, the lyrics on that folksong, and the comprehensive meaning of folksong.

This paper purposes to explain transcendental value in Watuwe and Towyatuwa is a folklore of Keerom. The result of this analysis found the values as follows: (1) animism and dynamism belief, (2) human limitedness, (3) mystic, irrational, and supernatural power, and (4) good attitudes, patience and effort for the glorify process.

Namaku Tewerawut is a roman tells about Asmat people in Papua. It was written by Ani Sekarningsih and published in 2000. The researcher interested to analyze about appreciating arts of the Asmat people because no research about it before. Based from Namaku Tewerawut roman, Asmat people are animism and dynamism. Its religion system influences their appreciation to arts values. Their arts appreciation was drawn by the author in description method. So it had described page by page, paragraph by paragraph, and word by word to analyze that parts. The conclusion of this research is the religion system of Asmat can we see on their arts appreciating.

Ormu’s folktale is the folktales that life and grown on Ormu etnic in Kabupaten Jayapura, Papua Province. Some of reseach about Ormu’s folktale had done, but not for research about its structure based on Axel Olrix’s epic law. It becomes the background of this research. This research tells about epic law of Axel Olrix on structure of folktales in Ormu, Papuan. The goals of this research is to analyze and to desribe about Axel Olrix’s epic law that applied on its structure. Methods of this research is qualitative. Data was collected by documentation technique by library research. It was analyzed by composing the plot of folktale then to describe it, so the characters can be known. For the last, the structure of that folktale was found their compatibility on Axel Olrix’s epic law. The result of this research was found that all Ormu’s folktales has forward plot with limited character, their were bundled by two equal of epic law. Each folktale bundles by different epic law, its totally between two untill eight epic law.

Novel is the prose that written based on social context as human mimetic. Indonesian novel are the prose was written by using Indonesian language. This research discuss about Indonesian novel that tell about Papua in 2000-2012. That novel can be told about its ethnics, its people, its cultures, or its nature. This research uses descriptive methods and collecting data by library research. They are seven Indonesian novel has written in 2000-2012. Those novels told about Papuan. Those novels are: Namaku Teweraut by Ani Sekarningsih (2000); Kapak by Dewi Linggasari (2005); Sali: Kisah Seorang Wanita Suku Dani by Dewi Linggasari (2007); Mawar Hitam Tanpa Akar by Aprila R.A. Wayar (2009); Tanah Tabu by Anindita S. Thayf (2009); Elang by Kirana Kejora (2009); and Istana Pasir by Dewi Linggasari (2010).

This research about seven of Danau Sentani stories. This research discusses about 1) its formula on seven of Danau Sentani stories; 2) creating patterns on seven of Danau Sentani stories; and 3) Theory Parry-Lord applied on seven of Danau Sentani stories. Its goal is describing and analyzing the unsure and creating patterns on seven of Danau Sentani stories. This research used the qualitative and descriptive-analytics methods. Data was collected by documentation and interview technique. Data was analyzed by Parry-Lord methods. The results of this research are finding its structure that composed by formula, formulaic sentences, and theme. So we can say that Parry-Lord theory can be applied in folktale and myth genre.

This research discusses about Sentani myth “Ohee” based on Levi-Strauss’ structuralism theory. Its problem is how about structure of Sentani myth “Ohee”. This research used qualitative method. The goals of this research are to show, to describe, and to analyze Sentani myth “Ohee” based on Levi-Strauss’ structuralism theory. In its applying, data was collected by documentation technique. Then, the data was analyzed by Levi-Strauss’ methods and techniques. The results of this research were found 12 mythemes or cerithemes on that myth. Then, they were classified on five episode of text. In added, this research were found relevancy between text and the social context of Sentani people. We can look about their leadership, home living, feminism consept, mentality of Sentani people have being on Ohee myth. This research was shown that Levi-Strauss theory can be applied in the study of Sentani myth in Papua, Indonesia.
