Abstract

The objective of this research was to describe the process of Melinting dance learning by using Drill method in extracurricular activity in Muhammadiyah 3 Vocational School in Metro. This was a descriptive qualitative research. The result showed that teachers conducted learning activities in three stages; planning, implementation, and evaluating. Learning plan was made by teachers based on daily activity plan component of dancing extracurricular activity. Learningimplementation was exercised by teacher and students by including preliminary activity, main activity, and closing activity related to observation sheet of Drill method; observing, practicing, associating, and communicating. Learning evaluation was conducted by teacher during learning process and teacher evaluated students with process result observation sheet, Drill method observation sheet and observation sheet of practice test.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses Pembelajaran Tari Melinting menggunakan Metode Drill pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru sudah melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan tiga tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Perencanaan pembelajaran dibuat guru berdasarkan komponen RKH pada kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Tari. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan guru dan siswa yang mencakup kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup yang dikaitkan dengan lembar pengamatan Metode Drill yaitu mengamati, mempraktikan, mengasosiasi, dan mengkomunikasikan. Penilaian pembelajaran dilakukan guru selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung dan menilai siswa melalui penilaian Lembar Pengamatan Hasil Proses, Lembar Pengamatan Metode Drill dan Lembar Pengamatan Tes Praktek.Kata kunci : pembelajaran, tari melinting, metode drill
