Abstract

Abstrak Peran perpustakaan dengan berbagai jenis dan ukurannya salah satunya ialah menjadi sumber informasi yang mengelola dan menyebarkannya kepada pengguna. Informasi adalah aset penting bagi kelangsungan hidup perpustakaan dan menjamin kepercayaan penggunanya sehingga harus dikelola dengan baik. Perkembangan tata kelola teknologi informasi sangat berperan dalam pengelolaan, investasi dan penyebaran informasi di perpustakaan. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, keamanan informasi kemudian menjadi hal penting yang akan berdampak pada pemberdayaan informasi yang efektif. Kebutuhan untuk menyediakan manajemen keamanan informasi yang memadai di perpustakaan menjadi semakin mendesak seiring penerapan tata kelola teknologi informasi yang semakin masif. Makalah ini membahas topik keamanan informasi, pentingnya melindungi informasi dan akses informasi di perpustakaan menggunakan framework SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2013. Standar ini memberikan persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi dalam rangka mengimplementasikan sistem manajemen keamanan informasi pada suatu organisasi secara berkelanjutan. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran manajemen perpustakaan untuk mengamankan aset informasi yang dimiliki sehingga dapat diberdayakan sesuai dengan prinsip kerahasiaan (confidentiality), keutuhan (integrity) dan ketersediaannya (availability). Pentingnya manajemen keamanan informasi di perpustakaan ini tentunya akan bermuara pada kepuasan dan kepercayaan pengguna dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya di perpustakaan.

Abstract

The Indonesian Government has made various efforts to increase investment, mainly through deregulation. One of the implementations of these deregulation efforts is the development of the One-Stop Service Center (PTSP) at the Ministry of Investment/BKPM as an integrated service center for licensing and non-licensing activities related to investment, Foreign Investment (PMA), and Domestic Investment (PMDN). Badan Standardisasi Nasional (BSN) took part in providing service counters at the Central PTSP to provide services in the field of Standardization and Conformity Assessment (SPK). The implication is that BSN requires competent human resources to support these services. Currently, the personnel assigned to the Central PTSP is a librarian. This study aims to identify the skills and competencies needed by librarians to support the investment ecosystem in Indonesia through Central PTSP services. This study was designed by qualitative research with a case study method. Data collection methods using literature study and in-depth interview. This paper focused on the case of a BSN librarian as an informant who was assigned as a liaison officer at the Central PTSP. Data analysis was carried out using a descriptive method. Findings in this study highlight that librarians in special libraries need to improve and adopt 11 (eleven) skills and competencies that are relevant to the duties and functions of the institution, as well as an investment ecosystem to produce optimal librarian performance for the parent institution and society in general. The conclusions of the study include; First, special libraries have different resource tendencies from one institution to another which have an impact on different needs for skills and competencies. Second, special libraries can synergize with institutions outside the parent institution to meet the information needs of segmented users. Third, librarians in special libraries are very important to be subject specialists in their institutional environment. Fourth, the skills and competencies experienced by librarians in special libraries can be overcome by various strategic steps.
Analisis Komparasi ISO 11620:2014 dan ISO 11620:2023 sebagai Standar Indikator Kinerja Perpustakaan Muhammad Bahrudin

Abstract

ISO 11620 is an international standard used as a guideline for measuring library performance. In 2023, this standard underwent a significant revision with the addition of library performance indicators. This study aims to understand the differences occurrs in both editions of the ISO 11620 standard and the implications of these changes in library performance measurement. This study used a comparative descriptive approach to analyze the differences and similarities between ISO 11620:2014 and ISO 11620:2023. The Online Draftable was used to analyze the text comparison. The results of the text comparison analysis identified 4,541 content changes and 317 text style changes in ISO 11620:2023. There is a change in the number of terms and definitions covered in ISO 11620:2014 from 57 terms to 85 terms and definitions in ISO 11620:2023. The number of performance indicators in ISO 11620:2014 was 52, and in ISO 11620:2023 it is 85. There are 15 new performance indicators focus on library use and utilization including collections, access via mobile devices, library awareness, and library impact assessment.
