Abstract

Libraries are part of learning resources that must be owned by every school and college. Library make studentsseek knowledgeeasily. Vocational High School State (SMK) 2 Luwu is one of the secondary schools that has not implemented a website-based system. This is because the library of SMK Negeri 2 Luwu still uses a manual system. As in lending and returning services, they still use a recording system in the borrowing book. In addition, when there are new books added, the librarian does not record the book data, only gives the ID to the book and immediately stores it on the appropriate shelf in the book category. The method used in this research is the waterfall method. This application is designed using the UML model, and built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database

Abstract

Rumah kost adalah tempat tinggal sementara disewa oleh mahasiswa, pekerja, atau individu dari luar kota. Pembayaran dapat bulanan, enam bulanan, atau tahunan. Ini penting bagi mereka yang belajar di perguruan tinggi atau bekerja jauh dari keluarga sebagai tempat tinggal kedua. Satu Sama Kost adalah aplikasi pencarian kost berbasis web di Makassar dengan fitur penting seperti pencarian kost, foto kost, info detail kost, layanan angkut barang, nomor telepon pemilik kost, integrasi Google Maps, fasilitas dan pencarian tempat terdekat. Aplikasi ini membantu mahasiswa dan pekerja merantau mencari kost sesuai preferensi mereka. Perancangan ini menggunakan metode prototype untuk menghasilkan sebuah rancangan sistem pencarian kost berbasis web di kota makassar. Dalam melakukan perancangan sistem ini terbagi atas beberapa tahap yaitu Usechase Diagram, Activity Diagram, dan perancangan antarmuka. Pengujian yang digunakan pada sistem ini adalah pengujian Black Box untuk mengetahui seberapa akurasi responsif sistem ini untuk pengguna. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sistem pecarian kost berbasis web yang dapat membantu mahasiswa dan pekerja yang datang dari luar kota untuk mendapatkan tempat tinggal, dan memudahkan pemiliik kost untuk mempromosikan rumah kostnya

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat berupa Pelatihan Aplikasi Perkantoran dan Desain Grafis  ini bertujuan (1) untuk memberikan pemahaman masyarakat akan ilmu pengetahuan kepada masyarakat mengenai Aplikasi perkantoran dan desain grafis dan melatih cara menggunakannya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Baruga Kecamatan Pajukukang, Kabupaten Bantaeng pada tanggal 21 Mei 2022 yang diikuti oleh aparat desa dan masyarakat setempat, Anggota PKK serta Karang Taruna Desa Baruga. Kegiatan dimulai dengan penjelasan materi kemudian dilanjutkan dengan latihan demonstrasi cara mengoperasikan Aplikasi perkantoran dan Aplikasi desain Grafis. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai Teknologi Informasi serta memberikan kemampuan bagi peserta dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi perkantoran dan aplikasi desain grafis. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan dampak baik bagi aparat desa karena beberapa latihan yang dilakukan dapat membuat mereka mudah menyelesaikan pekerjaannya.

Abstract

This study designed a questionnaire application for the performance of the Computer Science Study Program Lecturers, so that in the future the performance assessment of lecturers at the Faculty of Computer Science can be even better, so that no more difficulties are encountered in processing evaluation data or in finding lecturer evaluation data. Because basically the lecturer performance appraisal system that is currently running, there are still frequent errors in the results of the evaluation reports due to the wrong input and analysis process This application was created using Visual Basic 2010 and using the Access database. expected to help the campus in improving the performance of lecturers. The testing system used is the white box testing method.

Abstract

Verticulture is a gardening method that addresses land limitations by using a multi-layered vertical planting system. However, there are several issues in verticulture, one of which is providing water based on plant needs. The irrigation of verticulture plants is routinely done every day, either in the morning or during the day. This certainly consumes time and effort for the farmers. Therefore, the objective of this research is to design a monitoring and irrigation system for verticulture plants based on soil moisture sensor data that will be processed using fuzzy logic algorithms and Wireless Sensor Network technology. The result of this research is a system implemented at 16 verticulture planting points. Sixteen sensor nodes successfully read soil moisture data in real time and sent this data to a sink node. The sink node then received and collected the moisture data sent by the sensor nodes. The algorithm used in this system is fuzzy logic, which successfully categorizes the readings from the soil moisture sensors into dry, moist, or wet categories, allowing the system to decide whether to irrigate the plants or not. The monitoring application created successfully displays the soil moisture sensor data as a percentage (%).

Abstract

The continuous growth of the population each year increases the demand for adequate food supplies, while land for cultivation is becoming more limited. One solution to this issue is the technique of growing fruit in pots (tabulampot). Irrigating potted plants is a crucial maintenance stage, where deficit irrigation can help manage fruit quality. However, manual watering by farmers is time-consuming and labor-intensive, necessitating an automation system. This research aims to design and build a smart water pump system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using a Decision Tree algorithm to monitor and irrigate potted fruit plants. The designed system can irrigate plants based on predetermined times and soil moisture conditions. Utilizing IoT technology, this system can be accessed and controlled via smartphone. The research results indicate that the system operates automatically, with the ability to monitor soil moisture and irrigate based on real-time sensor data. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance the efficiency of potted plant care and reduce farmers' workload.
