Abstract

A teaching profession is a form of human service profession that is full of challenges (Maslach & Jackson, 1986). Greenbreg & Baron (1995) stated that high job demands can lead to burnout. Pines and Aronson (1989) define burnout as physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion caused by long-term involvement in emotionally demanding situations. Burnout itself occurs because of three dimensions, namely emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and decreased personal achievement so that high pressure at work can affect the three dimensions of Burnout. Sullivan (1989) explains that one of the factors that can affect burnout is motivation. Therefore, it is important for teachers to develop motivation in order to overcome the burnout problem they face, and one way to develop motivation is with Achievement Motivation Training (AMT). Achievement Motivation Training (AMT) is a training activity to increase the need for achievement in a person. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Achievement Motivation Training (AMT) in reducing burnout with the hypothesis that Achievement Motivation Training (AMT) had an effect on reducing burnout. The sample of this study was 20 teachers at SMAI Miftahul Ulum Jatiurip Krejengan Probolinggo with details of 10 male teachers and 10 female teachers. Sampling in this study used a purposive technique, namely selecting samples according to the desired or with certain characteristics (Latipun, 2002). The method used to analyze the data in this research is a t-test. The t-test used is the Mann-Whitney test. Based on the hypothesis test from the analysis results obtained a significance value of 0.000. This means that there is an effect of Achievement Motivation Training (AMT) in reducing burnout. The results of the analysis also obtained the Mean Rank burnout of male and female teachers at the pretest time = 29.33 with the posttest value = 11.68. Based on this value, it can be concluded that giving an intervention using Achievement Motivation Training can reduce Burnout. From these results, it can be concluded that the provision of Achievement Motivation Training (AMT) can reduce burnout experienced by teachers at SMAI Miftahul Ulum Jatiurip Krejengan Probolinggo.

Abstract

Abstract College student college is someone who begins to enter early adulthood. At that age, they are solving problems related to work abilities that are relevant to their interests and skills. Because of The pressures that often come to him, disturb his psychological well-being. Circumstances that disturb this well-being can be overcome with gratitude. This study aims to determine the effect of gratitude (gratitude) in Islam on psychological well-being (psychological well-being) in final-year students at UIN Malang and to determine the magnitude of the significance of gratitude (gratitude) in Islam on psychological well-being (psychological well-being) in final-year students in UIN Malang. “This research is quantitative with a descriptive analysis approach. The population in this study were final-year students who were attending lectures at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The sample used in this study consisted of 12 respondents. The method used in selecting the sample is purposive sampling. Of the 12 research samples, it shows that the higher the gratitude one has, the higher the significance of psychological well-being.” Abstrak Mahasiswa adalah seseorang yang mulai memasuki usia dewasa awal. Pada usia tersebut, mereka sedang menyelesaikan permasalahan terkait dengan kemampuan bekerja yang relevan dengan minat dan keterampilannya. Oleh karena tekanan-tekanan yang seringkali datang kepadanya sehingga membuat kesejahteraan psikologisnya terganggu. Keadaan yang membuat kesejahteraan ini terganggu dapat diatasi dengan rasya syukur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara gratitude (kebersyukuran) dalam islam terhadap psychological well-being (kesejahteraan psikologis) pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di UIN Malang dan untuk mengetahui besaran signifikasi gratitude (kebersyukuran) dalam islam terhadap “psychological well-being (kesejahteraan psikologis) pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di UIN Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan kuantitatif dengan dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang sedang mengikuti perkuliahan di Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 12 responden. Metode yang digunakan dalam pemilihan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Dari 12 sampel penelitian menunjukan semakin tinggi rasa kebersyukuran yang dimiliki maka signifikasi dari kesejahteraan psikologisnya semakin tinggi.”

Abstract

In higher education, students are not only required to study in class but students are also required to study independently. Students are not only required to learn academic material but also non-academic material. However, in meeting these demands, students can encounter several obstacles such as difficulty finding references or literature, managing study time well, interacting with friends and lecturers, or self-management. This results in students experiencing academic procrastination. Academic procrastination is a behavior in which you procrastinate a task or an activity in carrying out an assignment but it takes longer than the time allotted (Nisa D.S, 2023). Therefore, this research aims to determine the effectiveness of handling student academic procrastination through self-reflection. This research uses the Academic Procrastination scale instrument with 10 statement items and the Self-Muhasabah scale with 10 statement items. Data analysis uses the product-moment correlation method from Pearson. The purpose of this analysis is to find a correlation between self-reflection and academic procrastination in students. The findings of this research show that the results of the correlation between academic procrastination and self-Contemplation obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.854 and a significance value of p=<0.01, this shows that self-Contemplation influences dealing with students' academic procrastination.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, peneliti menemukan bahwa menjadi mahasiswa UIN Malang merupakan hal yang berat karena mereka dituntut untuk mengikuti ma’had, PKPBA, PKPBI, ujian TOAFL dan TOEFL, aktif dalam kegiatan kemahasiswaan, menyelesaikan tugas akademik dengan baik, dan yang lainnya. Semua tuntutan yang ada tentunya menguras banyak tenaga dan pikiran yang terkadang membuat mereka tertekan, apabila mahasiswa tidak mampu menjalankan semua kewajiban yang ada maka dapat mempengaruhi Psychological Well-being yang kemudian menghambat produktifitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh spiritualitas terhadap psychological well-being mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif korelasional dengan partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 33, instrumen yang digunakan adalah Skala spiritualitas dengan 3 aspek: Kesadaran akan kehadiran Allah, Kemampuan mengagumi ciptaan Allah, Ketakutannya hanya oleh Allah. Serta skala Psychological Well-being yang terdiri atas 6 aspek: Self-acceptance, Personal growth, Positive Relation with Others, Purpose In Life, Environmental Mastery, Autonomy. Untuk data analisis menggunakan uji korelasi product moment pearson. Berdasarkan hasil uji signifikansi menunjukkan bahwa p-value pada variabel psychological well-being sebesar 0.001 artinya variabel tersebut mempunyai korelasi yang signifikan terhadap variabel spiritualitas, Selain itu hasil uji pengaruh menunjukkan bahwa nilai R2 (R Square) sebesar 0.376, artinya spiritualitas memiliki pengaruh sebesar 37,6% terhadap psychological well-being.
