Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between transformational leadership and work motivation with employee job performance partially and simultaneously. The population of this study is all employees at KPU Bogor City, Bogor Regency and Cianjur regency which is 80 employees. The sampling technique using the census is all the population used for research data. So the number of samples taken in this study as many as 80 respondents who are employees at KPU Bogor, Bogor and Cianjur.The research instrument is the questionnaire. The collected data is then processed using correlation analysis techniques with the help of SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) software. The results showed that: Firstly, transformational leadership has a positive relationship with employee’s job performance with a value of 0.652, this relationship fall into the category of strong relationships. While the influence of transformational leadership on employee job performance of is 42.5%. Secondly, work motivation has a positive relationship with employee job performance with a value of 0.892, this relationship is categorized very strong relationships. While the influence of work motivation on employee job performance is 79,5%. Thirdly, transformational leadership (X1) and work motivation (X2) simultaneously have a positive relationship with employee job performance (Y) of 0, 0.894, this relationship shows a very strong relationship between transformational leadership variable and work motivation simultaneously with employee job performance variable . Influence of transformational leadership (X1) and work motivation (X2) simultaneously has affected employee job performance (Y) of 80,0%. Abstract

This research is intended to evaluate and measure the relationship of leadership and ompensation with employee job satisfaction. The research object is PDAM Tirta Pakuan Bogor. The population for this study was taken PDAM Tirta Pakuan employees population 180 worker. Samples were taken as many as 100 people using stratified random sampling method in the population because there are various levels of work. Questionnaire was used as research instrument. Further, data collected was analyzed using regression equation by deployed SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) software.Result indicates that : First leadership with employee job satisfaction has a very significant relationship and have a contribution 21.4%. Both compensation with employee job satisfaction has significant relationships and have a contribution 26.7%. The third leadership and compensation together have a relationship and have a very significant contribution of 32.6%, the remaining 67.4% is determined by other variables not examined.Key words: Leadership, Compensation, and Job Satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the organizational culture and the leadership upon job satisfaction and job performance of the employees. The samples of this study are 125 employees of PT Promed Farma at the manufacturing division applying the proportional random sampling technique. And the hypothesis test has applied the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method. The Result of the Analysis has indicated that the organizational culture and the leadership have positively affecting job satisfaction. Organizational culture and job satisfaction have significantly and positively affected job performance of the employees, nevertheless, directly leadership has not significantly affected job performance of the employees. This research has proven that the organizational culture and the leadership have indirectly provided bigger effect upon job performance of the employees when it has been built up thru the highest level of job satisfaction. The variables of the organizational culture, leadership and job satisfaction have determined job performance of the employees which is 75% and the rest of 25% has been determined by other variables that have not been studied yet.Keywords: Organizational Culture, leadership style, job satisfaction and employee performance.
