<![CDATA[ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah access to justice dapat ditempuh melalui class action. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian normatif. Teknik pengumpulan yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan. Access to justice diartikan sebagai peluang bagi semua orang dalam memperoleh keadilan (justice for all). Pemerintah mengatur mengenai gugatan perwakilan kelompok atau class action yang memiliki arti prosedur pengajuan gugatan, dimana satu orang atau lebih yang mewakili kelompok mengajukan gugatan untuk dirinya sendiri dan sekaligus mewakili kelompok. Class action juga memiliki fungsi publik terhadap kebijakan yang luas dalam berbagai peraturan yang melibatkan banyak orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan access to justice melalui class action digunakan sebagai pemenuh hak asasi manusia untuk memperoleh keadilan dengan menggunakan mekanisme sebagai perlindungan hak-hak individu untuk menegakkan keadilan bagi semua. This research is normative legal method. The technical data collection in this research used a literature study. Access to justice defined as an opportunity for all people to obtain justice (justice for all). The government regulates Class action, which means procedure for lawsuit, in one or more people who represent a group submit a claim for themselves and also represent the group. Class action also has public function, on a broad policy towards various regulations involving many people.
