Abstract

Background: Reproductive health education is basically an attempt to provide knowledge. Possible reproductive health problems experienced by adolescents include unwanted pregnancy (KTD), abortion, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), sexual violence, and the problem of limited access to information and health services. Objective: The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the lecture method and small group discussion about reproductive health toward the level of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents. Research Methods: This research was a quantitative study using Quasi-Experimental Design with the Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The sampling technique used in this research was total sampling with a sample size of 62 respondents which was divided into two groups. There were 31 participants who used the lecture method and the other 31 participants used the small group discussion method. Results: The results showed that reproductive health education towards the level of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents with the lecture method and small group discussion were each effective toward the level of knowledge and attitude. The difference in the average pretest-posttest lecture method and small group discussion on the level of knowledge was 4.22 greater small group discussion methods which showed that the small group discussion method was more effective in increasing the level of knowledge of respondents. On the other hand, the difference between the average pretest-posttest lecture method and small group discussion on attitudes was 5.1 larger small group discussion methods which showed that the small group discussion method was more effective in increasing the level of knowledge of respondents. Conclusion: The results show that small group discussions are more effective in increasing the level of knowledge and attitudes of respondents towards adolescent reproductive health. Abstract

Objective: To determine the correlation between upper arm circumference length (LILA) and hemoglobin (Hb) levels in pregnant women in the work area of Public Health Care Center of Purwokerto Selatan. Method: The is a quantitative research with descriptive analytic methods using a cross sectional approach. The sample technique used is cluster random sampling with 94 respondents. Results: It was found that the age of most respondents or 43 respondents (45.7%) were 26-35 years old, the most respondents or 44 (46.8%) were graduated from SMA (Senior High School), the parity of most respondents or 67 (71.3%) is multigravida, most respondents or 87 (92.6%) were housewives. Most respondents or 74 (78.7%) had normal upper arm circumference (LILA) which had a length of 23.5 cm. Most respondents had a normal hemoglobin level of 48 (51.1%) with a hemoglobin level of 11 gr / dL. The Spearman Rank test results obtained p value of 0.0001.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Pemberian ASI ekslusif selama enam bulan bermanfaat memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi bayi tetapi pada pelaksanaannya memiliki banyak kendala. Ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan kurangnya produksi ASI, yaitu faktor menyusui, faktor psikologis ibu seperti stres, faktor fisik ibu, dukungan sosial, dan faktor bayi. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial dan tingkat stres dengan keberlangsungan pemberian ASI Ekslusif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kedungbanteng Kabupaten Banyumas. Metode : Desain dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskripsi korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini ibu yang mempunyai bayi usia 0-6 bulan. Jumlah sampel 70 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument penelitiankuesioner. Analisa data menggunakan uji chi square. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara dukungan sosial terhadap keberlangsungan pemberian ASI Ekslusif dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,001<0,05. Kemudian terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat stres terhadap keberlangsungan pemberian ASI Ekslusif dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,028<0,05. Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan dukungan sosial dan tingkat stres dengan keberlangsungan pemberian ASI Ekslusif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kedungbanteng Kabupaten Banyumas.

Abstract

Kesejahteraan ibu hamil selama 9 bulan 10 hari merupakan hal yang penting dalam mempersiapkan persalinan. Tetapi dalam proses kehamilan terdapat beberapa hal yang mengakibatkan terjadinya gangguan. Salah satu penyebab gangguan dalam persalinan serta perkembangan janin yaitu pre eklamsi atau eklamsi. Pre eklamsi merupakan gangguan dalam proses kehamilan berupa meningkatnya tekanan darah secara mendadak yang terjadi di akhir trimester dan sebelumnya belum mempunyai riwayat sebelumnya disertai adanya protein di dalam urin dan ekstremitas oedema. Deteksi dini yang dilakukan terhadap ibu hamil merupakan salah satu intervensi untuk mengurangi tingkat keparahan ibu. Teknik Body Mass Index (BMI), Roll Over Test(ROT) dan Mean Arterial Pressure Map (MAP) terbukti efektif untuk mendeteksi prevalensi pre eklamsi dan sebagai kegiatan untuk mendukung kesejahteraan ibu hamil dan bayi yang dikandungnya. Kegiatan ini merupakan program yang memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pentingnya deteksi dini pre eklamsi untuk mencegah penyakit komplikasi yang akan menghambat proses perkembangan kehamilan. Selain itu tujuan lain yaitu peserta mampu mempraktikkan pemeriksaan deteksi dini pre eklamsi. Program khusus dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan anggota Aisyiah tentang deteksi dini pre eklamsi. Program ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi dan pemberian media booklet terkait dengan penatalaksanaan deteksi dini pre eklamsi BMI, ROT, dan MAP. Adapun materi yang disampaikan pada kegiatan ini adalah definisi serta tata cara pelaksanaan BMI, ROT dan MAP.

Abstract

Pendahuluan : Gizi ibu hamil merupakan asupan makanan atau zat gizi yang meliputi makro dan mikro yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh ibu hamil pada pertumbuhan janin di setiap trimesternya yang berfungsi untuk kesehatan selama kehamilan dan mengurangi resiko gangguan. Jika ibu hamil tidak terpenuhi asupan gizinya dengan baik selama kehamilan, maka janin yang ada di dalam kandungan akan mengalami kekurangan gizi. Pengetahuan gizi mempengaruhi masalah gizi pada waktu kehamilan, sehingga usaha untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi tersebut dengan diberikannya pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan media video audio visual. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian edukasi video audio visual terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang asupan gizi di desa Sokaraja Lor. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain pre-experimental with one group pre and post-test. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 30 ibu hamil yang diambil dengan cara total sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik paired t-test. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan rerata pengetahuan sebelum diberikan edukasi 7,30 setelah diberikan edukasi mengalami peningkatan rerata pengetahuan menjadi 9,27. Hasil uji paired t-test p-value = 0,000. Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pemberian edukasi video audio visual terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang asupan gizi di desa Sokaraja Lor.

Abstract

Background: Technology is growing rapidly in accordance with the times, especially gadgets that are designed to be complete and easy to carry, the type of gadget that is commonly used is usually a mobile phone. However, there are many negative impacts that arise in the use of gadgets for adolescents that can interfere with adolescent mental health and social interaction in adolescents. Social interaction is a relationship between individuals and groups that occurs because of social contact and communication. Objective: To analyze the effect of gadgets on mental health status and social interaction among students at public junior high school 3 Pekuncen. Methods: the research sample was 82 respondents who were taken using proportional random sampling technique. In study, three different types of questionnaires were used which were measured using an ordinal scale. Data processing in this study used the Chi-Square test. Results: Based on the results of the study, the p-values were 0,003 and 0,007. From these results it can be seen that the p-value is less than 0.05, which means that there is an effect of the gadget on mental healty status and the influence of the gadget on social interaction in students at public junior high school 3 Pekuncen. Conclusion: There is an effect of gadgets on mental health status and social interaction in students at public junior high school 3 Pekuncen.

Abstract

Background: In the learning process, its environment can affect students' concentration and information absorption, as well as their achievement of competencies. Student satisfaction with learning enhances their motivation to explore the material, thus improving their learning outcomes in terms of GPA.The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the learning environment in the nursing laboratory, student learning satisfaction, and the GPA of third-semester nursing students at the university. Method: This research is quantitative with an analytic correlation design and uses a cross-sectional approach. The sample was selected using purposive sampling with a total of 144 respondents. Univariate analysis is presented in frequency and percentage tables. Bivariate analysis employs the Pearson Product Moment test. Results: The results of the research using the Pearson Product Moment analysis show that the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.682 indicates a significant relationship between the learning environment in the laboratory and student satisfaction with learning in nursing. The correlation between the learning environment in the laboratory and students' GPA is 0.635, while the correlation between learning satisfaction and students' GPA is 0.434, indicating a fairly strong correlation between these two variables. Conclusion: The significant correlation (p) of 0.0001 indicates a strong positive correlation between the learning environment in the laboratory and learning satisfaction. The correlation between learning environment and students' GPA is strong, indicating that a better learning environment leads to higher GPAs. Additionally, the correlation between learning satisfaction and students' GPA is moderately strong.
