Abstract

In 2013 curriculum is required integrated science learning in Junior High School. Integrated learning isn’t implemented well yet. As solution of this problem is to make integrated science student worksheet by integrating the scientific literacy. The purpose of the research is to  determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the student worksheet of integrated science by integrating scientific literacy. The type of research is Research and Development (R & D).  Research design was limited testing this was before and after treatment. Instruments to collect data were expert validity sheet,  practicality assessment sheet, effectiveness of the test sheet form of sheets of  achievement test sheet, attitude observastion sheet, performance, and skill assessment sheet. Data analysis techniques were used in this research as follow: statistic descriptive, graph method, and correlation compare mean. Based on data analysis, there were two of research results. First, student worksheet of integrated science by integrating scientific literacy was very valid with average is 84.80. Second, implemention of integrated science student worksheet was practice acording teachers and students with average value respectively 89.46 and 90.30. In addition implementation of integrated science student worksheet by integrating scientific literacy was effective to improve students competencies including knowledge, attitude and skill competency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of inquiry based learning models in physics learning. The effect of applying the IBL model will be investigated from the results of previous studies. This research uses meta-analysis. Meta analysis is the study of a number of research results in the same problem. In this study, the analyzed documents are written about the effect of applying the IBL model in learning Physics. The written documents used were 10 research journal articles taken in accordance with the objectives based on the research theme. The main instrument of this research can help to guide the research documentation itself. Analysis of the data used is qualitative data analysis in the form of narrative from the studies found. The results showed that the application of the IBL model in Physics learning had different effects. The effects of applying the IBL model include understanding Physics concepts, scientific literacy, logical thinking abilities, learning outcomes, creativity, scientific attitudes, critical thinking skills, creative thinking abilities and can reduce misconceptions among students in learning Physics. Therefore, the IBL model can be used as one of the choices of educators to obtain better learning outcomes and the full ability of the students themselves.
