Abstract

Reasoning ability is needed in life as a basis for solving the problems of life. One effort that can be done to develop the learners reasoning is apply science process skills. The implementation of this skill has a purpose so that learners are able to seek and find their own answers or the various problems faced by holding a series if science process skills. Therefore, researchers compiled Physics worksheets using existing skills in science process skills. This research aims to determine the effect of the application of worksheets based on science process skills to the reasoning power of students in grade XI of SMAN 3 Payakumbuh. The kind of this research i a quasi experimental design with a randomized control group design only, with a population of eleventh grade students of  SMAN 3 Payakumbuh enrolled in the academic year 2013/2014. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample is XI IPA 4 as a experiment XI IPA 5 as the control class. The research data is the ability of reasoning power of Physics students. The research instrument is the achievement test. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average power of reasoning experimental class is 68.86 which is at sufficient category and the average ability of reasoning power control class 62.99 in middle category. The data obtained were analyzed using two common test average through to test. Conclusion of this research is the hypothesis that there is a significant impact on the use of science process skills worksheets based on the power of reason in grade XI of SMAN 3 Payakumbuh be accepted on the real level of 0.05. Thus, the use of science process skills worksheets can improve students’ reasoning

Abstract

This study aims to examine the contribution of historical science in the effort to revitalize museums as educational institutions and preserve cultural heritage. Museums, as public spaces that store and exhibit historical collections, have an important role in facilitating public understanding of the nation's history. However, in the context of the development of the times and changes in public preferences, museums often face challenges in attracting visitors. The contribution of historical science in museum revitalization includes a more interactive approach, technology integration, and storytelling based on in-depth historical research. Thus, historical science not only functions as a source of information, but also as a basis for creating educational experiences that can connect the current generation with relevant historical values. This study suggests various revitalization strategies that can be applied to increase the attractiveness and function of museums as centers for learning and preserving culture, as well as strengthening historical awareness.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Sejarah Dan Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Karakter Dalam Seni Permainan Rebana Sumbawa. Adapun sub masalah dari pokok permasalahan tersebut adalah sebagai berikut: 1. Bagaimanakah sejarah awal datangnya Rebana ke Nusantara hingga ke Sumbawa? 2. Apa saja nilai-nilai Pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam permainan rebana Sumbawa? Penulis menggunakan Jenis penelitian kebudayaan dengan menggunakan analisis data deskriptif kualitatif, yakni penelitian yang dimaksudkan untuk memahami sejarah dan nilai Pendidikan karakter mengenai unsur dan ruang lingkup permainan rebana Sumbawa. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah, Pendekatan antropologi, Theologis/Religy, dan history. Selanjutnya metode pengumpulan data dengan Menggunakan Library Riset, penulis berusaha untuk mengemukakan mengenai objek yang dibicarakan sesuai kenyataan yang terjadi pada main rebana Sumbawa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menunjukkan bahwa ada sinergi antara nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandug dalam seni permainan rebana Sumbawa, merupakan nilai dasar yang mencakup nilai agama, sosial, kebangsaan, dan kebudayaan.
