Abstract

The low of student competencies achievement in Physics-Nature Science learning due to the lack of effective learning model that is applied in the learning process, particularly in enhancing student’s creativity. Synectics Lesson is one model of learning that are considered effective to enhance student’s creativity, because there is a methapor in which the activity. Therefore, conducted research to investigate the affect of applying Synectics Lesson in learning of Physics science to increase students competence. Quasi Experiment Research with Randomized Countrol Group Only Design consist of  two independent predictor variables. Populations of  the research is all of student VIII grade in SMPN 1 Solok City enrolled in the academic year 2012/2013 unless the class is seeded. Sampling was done by using Cluster Random Sampling. Instrument such as the end of the test item for general cognitive, creative thinking scoring rubric, observation sheet creative attitude, scoring rubric creative skills, obeservation sheet implementation of models, student worksheet and questionnaires. Data belonging to the primary data which are analyzed using two test average similarity, multiple regression testing, product-moment correlation test at 0,05 significance level. The results showed that Synectics Lesson have a significant impact on increasing student competence quantitatively with high criteria at 0,05significance level.   Keywords : Synectic Lesson, Metaphor Activity , and Creativity

Abstract

Kesimpulan dari disertasi ini adalah bahwa integrasi antara ilmu tasawuf dan ilmu kalam dalam perspektif Al-Ghazali . beberapa pandangan menurut Al-Ghazali tentang ilmu tasawuf dan ilmu kalam dalam kitab ihya’ u’lumuddin dan Al-Munqidz min Adh-Dhalal, dan didukung oleh beberapa kitab lainnya. Tujuan dari disertasi ini adalah untuk mengetahui sekaligus mengenal biografi imam al-ghazali, pandangannya terhadap tasawuf,pandangan terhadap ilmu kalam,dan hubungan ilmu tasawuf dengan ilmu kalam menurut pandangannya. Dalam kitab Al-Munqidz min Adh- Dhalal menyatakan bahwa Al-Ghazali merupakan orang pertama menyatukan ilmu tasawuf dan ilmu kalam. Dalam kitab ihya’ u’lumuddin tasawuf Al-Ghazali yaitu dengan mematahkan hambatan- hambatan jiwa, dan membersihkan diri dari moral tercela. dalam kitab ihya’ u’lumuddin juga menceritakan pengetahuan yang dicari al-ghazali adalah pengetahuan yang tidak hanya menghasilkan rasa tahu saja tetapi meyakinkan dirinya atas keragu-raguan dalam pikirannya. Al-Ghazali memang terkenal sebagai pemikir yang kritis sehingga ia tidak akan puas dengan ilmunya apabila belum terbukti kebenarannya. Sehingga pada waktu dulu al-ghazali berpikir bahwa kebenaran tentang ilmu tidak bisa didapatkan dengan belajar atau mengetahui kaidah-kaidah nya tetapi harus dibantu oleh jalur rohaniah atau tasawuf. Sehingga ia mengatakan bahwa hubungan ilmu tasawuf dan ilmu kalam itu sangatlah erat

Abstract

The internship activities of students from the Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir Department at Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara represent a form of community service aimed at providing tangible contributions in accordance with their field of expertise. Although the students do not come from an education major, the interns at SMP Muhammadiyah 05 Medan actively participated in the religious guidance of students. The guidance activities included mentoring in Qur’an learning, Islamic Religious Education (PAI), and tahfidz (Qur’an memorization), as well as training in practical acts of worship such as the procedures for ghusl janabah (ritual purification after major impurity) and the funeral prayer (salat al-janazah). In addition, the interns also organized various Islamic competitions, including short surah recitation contests, Islamic quiz competitions, and the call to prayer (adhan) competition. This study employed a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, where data were obtained through observation, documentation, and direct participation during the internship activities. The results indicate that religious guidance through practical worship training and Islamic competitions can enhance students’ understanding, skills, and enthusiasm in practicing Islamic teachings. Therefore, the student internship program provides a positive contribution in strengthening religious values and the religious character of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 05 Medan.
