Abstract

Abstract.Highest usage of energy to the air condition will be ever accompanied by the increasing of Glass house Gas productivity, owning flimsy impact of Ozone coat in Atmosphere. Really this phenomenon in future will be more concern, the important thing in city area that loaded high rise building. For that to all architects along with their stakeholder who required doing the effort accompanied with variety of innovation and also creation that based on action of energy economically. Existence of Structure System of Core at laminated building of many floors (high rise building) where the shape was looked like flue roof boosting to follow height of building, can be processed and dimulty functioned as component of natural evaporation system by giving addition some elements among others, mow (duct) vertical - horizontal, room or funnel for cross section of temporary air, baling-baling (cyclone) and grill. With this natural evaporation method, the assumption can do to transfer of air at least at restroom or toilet area at high rise. Functionalism of core was as flue of natural evaporation meant as adding effort on exchequer of Green Architecture. Keyword: economical of energy, gas of glass house, green architecture AbstrakSemakin tingginya penggunaan energi untuk pengkondisian udara, akan senantiasa diiringi oleh  meningkatnya produktivitas Gas Rumah Kaca, yang memiliki dampak menipisnya lapisan Ozon di Atmosfir. Sungguh fenomena ini kedepan akan semakin  memprihatinkan, utamanya di kawasan perkotaan yang sarat bangunan tinggi. Untuk itu bagi para arsitek beserta steakholder-nya perlu melakukan upaya yang diiringi dengan ragam inovasi serta kreasi  yang berbasis pada tindakan hemat energi. Keberadaan Sistem Struktur Core pada bangunan berlapis lantai banyak ( high rise building) dimana bentuknya telah menyerupai bumbung cerobong yang menjulang mengikuti ketinggian bangunan, dapat diolah dan dimulti fungsikan sebagai komponen Sistem penghawaan alamiah dengan memberikan tambahan beberapa elemen diantaranya, selumbung (duct)  vertikal – horizontal, ruang atau corong penampung udara sementara, bailng-baling (cyclone) dan kisi-kisi (grill). Dengan metoda penghawaan alamiah ini, diasumsi dapat melakukan pertukaran udara sedikitnya pada area lantai dasar untuk gedung empat lantai keatas. Fungsionalisasi core sebagai cerobong penghawaan alamiah dimaksudkan sebagai upaya penambah perbendaharaan Green Architecture. Kata kunci: Arsitektur hijau, Gas rumah kaca, Hemat energi

Abstract

The high demand of medicinal plants with limited agricultural land availability can be solved by the utilization of land under forest canopy through applying agroforestry. This study aims to assess the effect of different varieties of ginger and different shading intensities of pine (Pinus merkusii) on the productivity and quality of ginger. The design used was a split plot design consisting of 3 replicates with an area of  100 m2 for each plot and with spacing of 50 x 50 cm. The main plot is the light intensity treatments, i.e. 50-58% (age class II), 68-77% (age class I) and 87-92% (poor increment), whereas the sub plot is the varieties of ginger i.e.: small white ginger (emprit), large white ginger (gajah) and red ginger. Results showed that the light intensity does not significantly affect the percentage of growth, moisture content, volatile oil, fiber, starch and ash. Varieties of ginger significantly affect the percentage of growth, height growth and weight of rhizome, but do not significantly affect the moisture content, volatile oil, fiber, starch and ash . The average yield of each variety of ginger is 5.54 tons/ha, 8.38 tons/ha and 6.7 ton /ha for small white ginger, large white ginger and red ginger, respectively. Agroforestry of ginger plant under pine stand can be done to improve land productivity, especially in poor stand increment.

Abstract

Construction projects are activities that are prone to work accidents and occupational diseases. Therefore, awareness of applying Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is crucial. Basically, all humans want to complete work safely. These measures can motivate and drive workers’ behavior to carry out their work safely and healthily. This study aims to determine whether or not a correlation or influence exists between Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and the work motivation of construction workers in the Pramita Lab Surabaya project environment. The research method was descriptive-quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis results indicated that: (1) Based on the results of the analysis of the T-test on the work safety variable, the t-value was -0.309 critical t-value -2.042, and there was no significant effect between work safety and work motivation. (2) In the analysis of the T-test on occupational health, the value of the t-value was -4.345 critical t-value -2.042, indicating that occupational health had a significant effect on work motivation. (3) In the F-test, the calculated F-value was 27,852 F-table 3.35; Occupational Health and Safety influenced work motivation. This means that occupational safety and health is very important and affects the motivation of its workers.
