Abstract

Socialization about hand washing using hand sanitizer is an effort to prevent the early spread of the covid-19 virus which is very unusually fast transmission. This automatic hand dryer is one of the supporting equipment when we finish washing our hands in public places that have been provided by handwashing / sink. Community service is done so that the community can easily dry their hands after washing their hands in the place that has been provided, in addition to maintaining the cleanliness of the environment from used tissue hand dryers that are often discarded out of place. The implementation of this service is carried out in several stages in order to obtain maximum results and complete reporting.

Abstract

Some important things that still have to be done when new normal for newspapers are at the entrance to the workplace, take temperature measurements using a thermogun, and before entering work, a Covid-19 Risk Self-Assessment is implemented to ensure that workers who will enter work are not infected with Covid- 19. Provide hand washing facilities (soap and running water). Then provide instructions for the location of the hand washing facilities. Then put up educational posters on how to wash hands properly. Given the importance of knowing body temperature and washing hands against the symptoms of the spread of the corona virus, this community service will create a system that integrates tools to support office activities during the new normal period. The integration of the system which will provide a device to record body temperature, a hand washer and a hand dryer, all work automatically

Abstract

Solar Street Lighting a street lighting solution for areas or areas that are not within the PLN network area or for lighting efficiency using solar power. The use of public street lighting, although it has several advantages, there are still disadvantages in the field conditions, including the improper placement of the lighting so that it is blocked from sunlight, the use of inappropriate materials, unsuitable height of poles and lack of maintenance which results in not optimal utilization of solar energy. In this study, an analysis of the power efficiency of solar street lighting in the District of Ternate Island will be carried out by conducting direct observations and measurements in the field. The results showed that the maximum voltage for street lamps that were not blocked by trees was 23 volts, while those that were blocked by trees were 19 volts. The lighting strength of the street lights that are blocked by trees is 9 lux, while those that are not blocked by trees are 10 lux. The amount of input voltage for the solar panels affects the strength of the lamp lighting

Abstract

Pemanfaatan energi surya untuk kebutuhan masyarakat baik untuk kepentingan rumah tangga maupun untuk dunia usaha kecil menengah saat ini semakin menjadi trend. Salah satunya adalah penggunaan energi surya untuk pompa air dc pada usaha tanaman hiroponik. Banyaknya usaha kecil menengah tanaman hidroponik yang memanfaatkan energi surya  sebagai penggerak pompa air DC. Dengan memanfaatkan energi surya diharapkan  dapat mengurangi biaya tagihan listrik dari PLN. Dengan diadakannya pelatihan pemasangan pompa air dc bertenaga surya pada kelompok usaha atau masyarakat, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan teknis dalam hal   penggunaan teknologi tenaga surya dengan baik sehingga mampu melakukan perawatan dan pemeliharaan peralatan pendukung usaha tanaman hidroponik. Dari hasil kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dapat diketahui bahwa banyaknya masyarakat yang berminat melakukan sesuai dengan apa yang diajarkan namun kendalanya pada pengetahuan tentang pemasangan peralatan yang masih minim

Abstract

Penggunaan daya listrik pada gedung Kantor Bupati Kabupaten Halmahera Barat semakin hari semakin bertambah sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan perkembangan Kabupaten Halmahera Barat di masa akan datang, otomatis penambahan daya sangat diperlukan. Untuk memperoleh daya listrik terpasang yang efisien, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan observasi dan perhitungan daya yang digunakan sesuai dengan ilmu kelistrikan.Konsumen komersial atau perkantoran rata-rata memiliki standar faktor kebutuhan sebesar  70% - 90% dan faktor beban 25% - 30% untuk mendapatkan penggunaan daya listrik yang efisien. Faktor kebutuhan adalah perbandingan antara kebutuhan maksimum (beban puncak) terhadap total daya tersambung.Total penggunaan daya maksimum 197,4 kVA dengan standar faktor kebutuhan sebesar 1,88. Total luas ruangan ber-AC 9.361 m2, dengan mengkomsumsi energi listrik selama satu bulan totalnya 36.135 kWh/bulan, jika di bandingkan dengan standar IKE maka nilainya sangat efisien, berbeda dengan perhitungan IKE untuk ruangan tidak ber-AC yang memiliki total luas ruangan 875 m2 dan mengkomsumsi energi selama satu bulan 2,484 kWh/bulan, jika di bandingkan dengan standar IKE untuk ruangan tidak ber-AC maka nilai IKEnya masuk kriteria ruangan yang boros atau sangat boros mengkomsumsi energi listrik.Kata kunci: Daya listrik terpasang, factor beban, faktor kebutuhan, perbandingan intensitas  komsumsi energi (IKE).
