Abstract

Abstrak. Gangguan pernapasan merupakan penyakit yang dapat disebabkan oleh bakteri, virus, dan sebagainya. Pemberian obat pada gangguan pernapasan dapat lebih dari satu macam obat misalnya pada penyakit yang disebabkan oleh infeski bakteri dapat diberikan antibiotik dan terapi simptomatis sehingga dapat menyebabkan interaksi obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah pontensi interaksi obat, dampak interaksi yang terjadi, serta mengetahui solusi yang dapat diberikan dari resep pasien gangguan pernapasan di Puskesmas Cibolerang Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data secara retrospektif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari 91 sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi ditemukan kejadian interaksi obat sebanyak 28 kasus dimana interaksi obat yang paling banyak terjadi adalah ranitidin dengan parasetamol sebanyak 12 kasus kemudian salbutamol dengan fenilpropanolamin HCl sebanyak 4 kasus. Abstract. Respiratory disorders are disease that can be caused by bacteria, virus, etc. Drug administration for respiratory disorders can be more than one type of drug, for example in disease caused by bacteria infections that antibiotics and symptomatic therapy can be given so that they can cause drug interactions. This study aims to determine the number of potential drug interactions, the impact of interactions that occur, and to find out the solutions that can be given from prescriptions for patients with respiratory disorders at Puskesmas Cibolerang Kota Bandung. The research method is descriptive with retrospective data collection. Based on the results of the study from 91 samples that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria there are 28 cases of drug interactions were found, where the most frequent drug interactions were ranitidine and paracetamol in 12 cases, then salbutamol with phenylpropanolamine HCl in 4 cases.

Abstract

Abstrak. Diabetes Melitus (DM) adalah sindrom metabolik di mana insulin tidak diproduksi atau tidak bekerja dengan baik dan insulin dapat diproduksi namun tidak cukup untuk tubuh. Kadar glukosa yang tidak terkontrol dapat merusak jaringan tubuh dan menimbulkan komplikasi. Supaya kadar glukosa dalam tubuh pasien penderita DM tipe 2 dapat terkendali, dapat dilakukan dengan salah satu car aini yaitu mengkonsumsi antidiabetes secara teratur, sehingga kepatuhan mengkonsumsi anti diabetes pada pasien DM tipe 2 menjadi hal yang sangat penting. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan karakteristik deskriptif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah pasien DM tipe 2 yang melakukan perawatan di Rumah Sakit Al Ihsan Kab.Bandung pada periode Februari- April 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tidak langsung, yaitu dengan cara menggunakan kuesioner yaitu kuesioner MMAS-8. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode slovin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 24 pasien memiliki tingkat kepatuhan tinggi (25%), 33 pasien memiliki tingkat kepatuhan sedang (34%), dan 40 pasien memiliki kepatuhan rendah (41%). Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic syndrome in which insulin is not produced or does not work properly and insulin can be produced but not enough for the body. Uncontrolled glucose levels can damage body tissues and cause complications. In order for glucose levels in the body of patients with type 2 diabetes to be controlled, it can be done with one of the ways aini is to consume antidiabetics regularly, so that adherence to taking anti-diabetics in patients with type 2 diabetes becomes very important. This study is an observational study with descriptive characteristics. The subjects of this study were type 2 DM patients who underwent treatment at Al Ihsan Hospital Kab.Bandung in the period February-April 2023. This study used an indirect method, namely by using a questionnaire, namely the MMAS-8 questionnaire. The sampling technique used in this study used the slovin method. The results showed that 24 patients had high adherence rates (25%), 33 patients had moderate adherence rates (34%), and 40 patients had low adherence (41%). Abstract

Abstract. Hyperglycemia is a condition of high blood glucose levels that describes the disease of diabetes mellitus. The bioactive components of phenolic compounds found in green betel leaves are considered to have the potential to reduce blood glucose levels. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of ethanol extract of green betel leaf (Piper betle L.) in reducing blood glucose levels in male mice with sucrose tolerance method, and to determine the most effective dose in reducing blood glucose levels. The research was conducted with an experimental approach through in vivo tests with the sucrose tolerance test method. Mice were divided into 7 groups, consisting of a negative control group, positive control group, test group of ethanol extract of green betel leaves in doses of 150 mg/kgBB, 250 mg/kgBB, 350 mg/kgBB, and 450 mg/kgBB and a comparison group. Data obtained in the form of blood glucose levels at minutes 0, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210 and 240, then performed statistical analysis using One Away Anova test and Tukey test. The results of statistical analysis showed a decrease in blood glucose levels with a significant difference between the four doses of green betel leaf ethanol extract when compared to positive control (P < 0.05). The higher the dose, the more effective it is in reducing blood glucose levels. A dose of 450 mg/kgBB of ethanol extract of green betel leaf is the most effective dose. In this case, it is necessary to further study the side effects through the toxicity test of the preparation to assess the safety of the use of ethanol extract of green betel leaf (Piper betle L.). to assess the safety of using green betel leaf ethanol extract preparations (Piper betle L.). Keywords: Green Betel Leaf (Piper betle L.), Antihyperglycemia, Antidiabetes Abstrak. Hiperglikemia merupakan kondisi tinggnya kadar glukosa darah yang menggambarkan penyakit dari diabetes melitus. Komponen bioaktif senyawa fenolik yang terdapat pada daun sirih hijau dinilai berpotensi dalam menurunkan kadar glukosa darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak etanol daun sirih hijau (Piper betle L.) dalam menurunkan kadar glukosa darah pada mencit jantan dengan metode toleransi sukrosa, dan mengetahui dosis yang paling efektif dalam menurunkan kadar glukosa darah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan eksperimental melalui uji in vivo dengan metode test toleransi sukrosa. Mencit dibagi menjadi 7 kelompok, terdiri dari kelompok kontrol negatif, kelompok kontrol positif, kelompok uji ekstrak etanol daun sirih hijau dosis 150 mg/kgBB, 250 mg/kgBB, 350 mg/kgBB, dan 450 mg/kgBB serta kelompok pembanding. Data yang diperoleh berupa kadar glukosa darah pada menit ke-0, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210 dan 240, kemudian dilakukan analisis statistik menggunakan uji One Away Anova dan uji Tukey. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukan penurunan kadar glukosa darah dengan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara empat dosis ekstrak etanol daun sirih hijau jika dibandingkan dengan kontrol positif (P<0,05). Semakin tinggi dosis, semakin efektif bekerja menurunkan kadar glukosa darah. Dosis 450 mg/kgBB ekstrak etanol daun sirih hijau merupakan dosis paling efektif. Dalam hal ini, perlu dikaji lebih lanjut mengenai efek samping melalui uji toksisitas sediaan untuk menilai keamanan penggunaan sediaan ekstrak etanol daun sirih hijau (Piper betle L.). Abstract

Diabetes melitus (DM) merupakan salah satu penyakit yang selalu meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Pada 2020 Indonesia menempati urutan ke 3 di Asia Tenggara. DM adalah penyakit hiperglikemia yang terjadi karena kelainan sekresi insulin, kerja insulin, atau keduanya. Penyakit DM terdapat 3 jenis yaitu DM tipe 1, DM tipe 2 dan DM gestasional. DM dapat terjadi komplikasi salah satunya yaitu hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola penggunaan obat antidiabetes dengan antihipertensi dan terdapat interaksi obat untuk antidiabetes dengan antihipertensi di RSUD Kabupaten Subang. Penelitian ini merupakan analisis secara deskriptif observasional. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan mencatat rekam medis yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Terdapat 70 rekam medik yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Karakteristik pasien didominasi oleh perempuan (68,6%) dan laki-laki (31,4%) dengan usia 60-74 tahun (50%). Obat antidiabetes dan antihipertensi yang paling banyak digunakan yaitu metformin (biguanide) 41% dan amlodipin (calcium channel blocker) 70,6%. Interaksi obat paling banyak yaitu metformin dengan amlodipin sebanyak 33 resep (57,7), mekanisme terbanyak yaitu farmakodinamika tingkat keparahan yaitu moderate. Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of the diseases that always increases from year to year. In 2020 Indonesia ranks 3rd in Southeast Asia. DM is a hyperglycemia disease that occurs due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action, or both. There are 3 types of DM disease, namely type 1, type 2 DM and DM gestasional. DM can have complications, one of which is hypertension. This study aims to determine the pattern of use of antidiabetic drugs with antihypertensives and drug interactions for antidiabetics with antihypertensives at the RSUD Subang. This research is an observational descriptive analysis. Data were collected using purposive sampling technique by recording medical records that met the inclusion criteria. There were 70 medical records that met the inclusion criteria. Patient characteristics were dominated by women (68.6%) and men (31.4%) with ages 60-74 years (50%). The most commonly used antidiabetic and antihypertensive drugs were metformin (biguanide) 41% and amlodipine (calcium channel blocker) 70.6%. The most common drug interaction was metformin with amlodipine as many as 33 prescriptions (57.7), the most mechanism was pharmacodynamics, the severity level was moderate.

Abstract

Abstrak. Infeksi jamur termasuk salah satu penyakit yang masih merupakan masalah kesehatan di Indonesia. daun kemangi (Ocimum americanum L.) memiliki berbagai macam khasiat dalam dunia pengobatan, salah satunya untuk mengobati penyakit yang disebabkan oleh infeksi jamur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui uji aktivitas antijamur ekstrak daun kemangi terhadap pertumbuhan jamur Candida albicans dan Aspergillus niger. Ekstraksi yang dilakukan menggunakan metode difusi agar (sumuran) dengan konsentrasi 2%,4%,6%,8% dan 10%. Kontrol positif yang digunakan ketokonazol dan kontrol negatif yaitu DMSO. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata diameter zona hambat pertumbuhan jamur Candida albicans dan Aspergillus niger dengan variasi konsentrasi yaitu 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% dan 10% adalah 13,2 mm,15 mm, 16,4 mm, 17,8 mm, 18,6 mm. Sedangkan rata-rata diameter zona hambat pertumbuhan jamur Aspergillus niger yaitu 14 mm, 16 mm, 16,5 mm, 19,1 mm, 20,2 mm. Dari hasil data penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak daun kemangi memiliki aktivitas antijamur dengan terbentuknya zona bening disekitaran sumuran. Basil leaves (Ocimum americanum L.) have various properties in the world of medicine, One of them is to treat diseases caused by fungal infection. This study aims to determine the antifungal activity of basil leaf extract on the growth of Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger. Extract was carried out using the agar diffusion method (wells) with concentrations of 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10%. Positive control using ketoconazole and negative control using DMSO. The results showed that the average diameter of the growth inhibition zones of Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger with varying concentrations of 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% was 13,2 mm,15 mm, 16,4 mm, 17,8 mm, 18,6 mm. While the average diameter of the growth inhibition zone of Aspergillus niger is 14 mm, 16 mm, 16,5 mm, 19,1 mm, 20,2 mm. From the results of the research data above, it can be concluded that basil leaf extract has antifungal activity with the formation of clear zones around the wells. Abstract

Senyawa sitotoksik merupakan senyawa atau zat yang dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan pada sel, serta dapat menghambat dan menghentikan pertumbuhan sel kanker. Kulit batang trengguli (Cassia fistula L.) dilaporkan memiliki senyawa metabolit sekunder berupa flavonoid, saponin, dan tanin. Senyawa tersebut diduga memiliki potensi sebagai antikanker. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas sitotoksik serta menentukan nilai Lethal Concentration 50 (LC50) dari ekstrak dan fraksi kulit batang trengguli terhadap larva Artemia franciscana Kellogg menggunakan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT). Pengujian BSLT pada ekstrak etanol, fraksi air, fraksi n-heksana, dan fraksi etil asetat dilakukan dengan seri konsentrasi uji 0 ppm, 10 ppm, 50 ppm, 100 ppm, 250 ppm, 500 ppm, 750 ppm dan 1000 ppm. Pada pengujian sitotoksik diperoleh LC50 pada ekstrak etanol sebesar 280,3496 ppm, fraksi air sebesar 552,5862 ppm, fraksi n-heksana sebesar 169,999 ppm, dan fraksi etil asetat sebesar 167,9964 ppm. Berdasarkan data tersebut ekstrak dan fraksi kulit batang trengguli menyebabkan sitotoksik terhadap Artemia franciscana Kellogg dan yang memiliki aktivitas sitotoksik paling tinggi yaitu pada fraksi etil asetat. Cytotoxic compounds are compounds or substances that can cause damage to cells, and can inhibit and stop the growth of cancer cells. Trengguli bark (Cassia fistula L.) is reported to have secondary metabolites in the form of flavonoids, saponins, and tannins. These compounds are thought to have potential as anticancer. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the cytotoxic activity and determining the value of Lethal Concentration 50 (LC50) of the pangolin extract and bark fraction on Artemia franciscana Kellogg larvae using the Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method. BSLT testing on ethanol extract, water fraction, n-hexane fraction, and ethyl acetate fraction was carried out with a series of test concentrations of 0 ppm, 10 ppm, 50 ppm, 100 ppm, 250 ppm, 500 ppm, 750 ppm and 1000 ppm. In the cytotoxic test, the LC50 in the ethanol extract was 280.3496 ppm, the water fraction was 552.5862 ppm, the n-hexane fraction was 169.999 ppm, and the ethyl acetate fraction was 167.9964 ppm. Based on these data, the extract and fraction of the pangolin stem bark caused cytotoxicity against Artemia franciscana Kellogg and the one with the highest cytotoxic activity was the ethyl acetate fraction.
