Abstract

Along with the development of social culture science and technology, the curriculum in educational institution is required to be dynamic. The development of society and education have dialectical relation. The society want education role. On the other hand, the education can produce works which affect the society development. The evaluation of curriculum on higher education is very important to increase the quality process and learning outcome on higher education. One of the curriculum evaluation models which is chosen is CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) evaluation model. Base on four curriculum evaluation dimension, the evaluation of curriculum implementation on higher education focused on: lecturer, higher student, lectures, and learning facilities. The result of curriculum evaluation implementation can be recommended for curriculum improvement and revision, partially or entirely.

Abstract

Education for women—with regular fashion—on Kiai Haji Ahmad Dahlan’s era practically didn’t exist, or only given little attention. Women at that time did not allowed outside home, even stay in her room or kitchen. This condition motivates Kiai Haji Ahmad Dahlan to change gradually. From the foundation of Muhammadiyah, Ahmad Dahlan have serve his house and time to women teaching, where he himself teaching or sometimes substituted by his wife, that also have fluent in Islamic knowledge. Kiai Haji Ahmad Dahlan believed that the world would not make complete progress when women only left behind, in the kitchen. He gather women and then give them teaching and course, that specific for mothers. On 1914, this course became organization entitled Sapatresna (who loving).

Abstract

To carry out evaluation comprehensively, we need appropriate instrument that suitable with domain that being evaluated. Evaluation instrument development with test has been conducted by experts. These instruments were only suitable to measure cognitive domain and part of psychomotor domain. To measure affective domain, we need to develop non-test evaluation instrument (alternative test). The development of this instrument tends to more difficult and complicated compare with instrument test evaluation instrument. Therefore, it does necessitate a through study to derive and elaborate affective domain to specific aspect to develop valid and reliable instrument.

Abstract

On learning literature, there many kind of learning model design, for example model developed by Winarno Surakhmad, Winkel, Hisyam Zaini et al., Briggs and  Wager, Gerlach and Ely, and Kemp. Those models design have component and pattern that different each other, from model that have dominant quantitative measure like measurement model and model that using qualitative approach as illuminative model. By studying many models and broaden view not only to one model approach, and even  combine (merger) between two or more models, or even developing our specific model. As one basic rule, good evaluation have to comply with several principle, namely validity, reliability, objectivity, continuity, and com­prehensive so the resulted information can became source to make right and wise decision. Abstract

Moral education is a spirit of Islamic education. The purpose of education is not merely filling student’s brain with all knowledge they’d known before, but rather to teach akhlâq to their soul, internalizing fadîlah (virtue), accustoming good manner, and prepare them to live an honesty life. The main direction of Islamic education is highly moral people, with pure spirit, strong intention, lofty inspiration and moral, know and do their responsibility and obligation, respect human right, and always remembering Allah on every their activity.

Abstract

In a research process with quantitative paradigm, the important step after data have been collected is running data analysis. There are four main considerations in search appropriate analysis technique, namely problem characteristic, data scale, sample used, variable amount, and their relationship. Careful consideration is needed in order that chosen analysis technique able to answer the problem questioned.
