Abstract

Indonesia is a country consisting of various ethnic groups, races, cultures, and religions. Indonesia is a pluralistic country, especially in terms of religion. In which there are six religions legitimized by the state, including Catholic Christianity, Protestant Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism. However, there are still many tribal religions that are lived by the Indonesian people, especially in remote areas. Then not infrequently problems arise because of differences of opinion or views from within each religion. This diversity of views triggers inter-religious conflicts ranging from verbal arguments/arguments, mutual suspicion, motions of disapproval of other religions arise, even to divisions and bloodshed (this is a reality that happened in the past and is still visible today). In the problems faced by religions, religious theology is moved and is present to offer to solve the problems faced by religions in order to create peace and harmony on this earth. Religious theology stands alone and starts from facts and truths that are human in nature. Seeing religious pluralism, religious theology invites every religious community to respond to the reality of religious pluralism by means of dialogue that is full of humility and openness between religions.

Abstract

The people of Kalambe Fort understand that death was caused by sins committed by the first humans who were placed in the Garden of Eden. Sin creates a wall of separation between humans and God, resulting in humans experiencing death. The presence of Christ breaks down the wall of separation between humans and God, namely sin. Through the death and resurrection of Christ as a sign that Christ has defeated death and humans gain the freedom to gain life after death. However, some members of the Fort Kalambe' congregation are still drowning in grief when facing death. The method used in this research is the Qualitative Phenomenology method where the author describes life in the congregation, describing phenomena that occur in the field, using Arthur Schopenhauer's theory which considers aesthetics to be a path to liberation of the will. The results of this study state that the worry about grief events is the congregation's fear of being abandoned by their beloved family. The congregation remains hopeful in the resurrection of Christ, and sorrow can disappear when people can let go of their will not to harbor thoughts and feelings for people who have gone.

Abstract

Orang Kristen mengalami tantangan internal dan eksternal mengenai persoalan hari sabat. Dari dalam gereja ketika para orang Kristen berbeda pandangan tentang konsep hari sabat dan dari luar gereja ketika orang non Kristen melontarkan tanggapan dan kritik yang negtif terhadap hari sabat. Tulisan ini berusaha mengangkat makna yang terkandung dalam hari sabat, sehingga pembaca dapat mengetahui apa sebenarnya yang dimaksud dengan hari sabat. Dalam tulisan ini menggunakan pedekatan tematis. Dan alhasil dapat disimpulkan bahwa sabat sinonim dari hari perhentian dari pekerjaan. Jadi hari sabat menunjuk pada perhentian atau istirahat dari pekerjaan dan bukan mengarah pada hari tertentu. Esensi dari sabat itu adalah perhentian untuk mengingat akan karya penciptaan Allah dan melakukan persekutan dengan Tuhan dan dengan sesama orang-orang percaya. Persolan waktu dalam melaksanakn hari perhentian itu tidak menjadi masalah karena yang terpenting adalah perhentian dalam mengingat dan menyembah Allah.
