Abstract

Marketing concept emerged since business philosophy shifted to a customer-centered, the job is to find the right products for your choosen target markets. The reason for customer orientation in which all functions work together to respond to, Serve, and satisfy customer. To satisfy consumer (end user) the marketing concept use integrated marketing, that is segmenting, Targeting, positioning, and marketing mix (4p/7p). And to.be success, marketer have to understand the behavior of consumers of her or his target market. The understanding of consumer's behavior helps to formulate the right and the effective marketing mix to satisfy consumers better than competitors.

Abstract

When student do not focus solely on academic quality but focus on service quality too. It is essential for student perception of service quality to be evaluated and managed by the university. We can employ SERVQUAI and Important Performance Analysis methods to know the quality of service of the university. The information that result from application of these methods are very important for the university to improve the quality of service and what attribute should be concentrate to improve .

Abstract

The goal of a positioning strategy is to create a product-price position attractive to target customers and good source of cash  flow  for the business.  Product Positioning is at the core of every strong brand. A distinct and well - understood association exists between such a brand and its primary customer  benefit. How it will create differentiated value for targeted segments and what position it want to occupy  in those segments. Product positioning strategies are based on product differentiation, service differentiation and brand differentiation.  Total benefits derived from this positioning must be larger  than total cost of obtaining  these benefits. Customers are influence by the status of a brand name or by the assurance of a well-known company (Lexus & Mercedes have strong brand association with prestige or status). A strong brand enhances positive evaluation; maintain a high of product awareness & provides a consistent image or brand personality;

Abstract

lndividuals develop their personal image through interaction with other people or groups which they have relationships for years. Personal image is how a person would others to see her/him, which generally believed that people will try to develop their persona! image white competition increases especially in public sectors such as campaign of city mayor, election of house representative member, promotion, and election of dean- People will evaluate personal image through to what extent their behavior consistent with their own personal image. If they behavior is not consistent with their personal image, they wilt loss their credibility thus it will be difficult to rebuild their own personal image.
