Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) technology provides opportunities for science and engineering. AR also has great opportunities in the world of education, which is to provide and display additional information in the form of 3D objects, video, sound, and text on an object. Smartphone software developers have developed Augmented reality technology that was previously developed on PC devices where this technology utilizes the existing camera on a smartphone. With this situation, AR technology has the opportunity to be used in the development of a media for recognizing hijaiyah letters, so that children will be happier learning because of its attractive appearance and teachers or parents can more easily teach lessons to their children. The way to use it is as follows: first, the user puts a registered and printed marker, second, the smartphone camera identifies (tracking) the marker. If the marker is invalid, the user repeats the identification process. If the marker is valid and identified, the marker will display the hijaiyah letter object in three-dimensional form. Third, users can understand the shape and pronunciation of hijaiyah letters by touching the virtual button on the marker

Abstract

Pada proses penyaluran beasiswa anak asuh di LAZ Sejahtera Ummat sering terjadi ketidak sesuaian dengan kriterianya. Kriterianya meliputi penghasilan orang tua, jumlah tanggungan orang tua, rata-rata nilai, prestasi non akademik dan status anak. Maka dari itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem penunjang keputusan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan pemilihan anak asuh dengan metode Technique For Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). TOPSIS merupakan suatu bentuk metode pendukung keputusan yang didasarkan pada konsep bahwa alternatif yang terbaik tidak hanya memiliki jarak terpendek dari solusi ideal positif tetapi juga memiliki jarak terpanjang dari solusi ideal negatif. Konsep ini banyak digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah keputusan secara praktis. Konsepnya sederhana dan mudah dipahami, komputasinya efisien dan memiliki kemampuan untuk mengukur kinerja relatif dari alternatif-alternatif keputusan dalam bentuk matematis yang sederhana. Sistem yang dibuat menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data mysql.

Abstract

Filing is the one of important process which happen in organization. Filing as a purpose to keep any important document manner with structural, orderly and safe. So if the document is consuct then easy to search and get that document. Most of organization in filing still use the manual process. Filing document still using many papper and storage media in case. This process is containing many risk. Such as damage, lost, document disorder. So that caused difficult to get document back. Old method also cause many cost. And if the document increase so much, then the system document filing is needed to help in document archieve and reduce cost. This thesis describes the development of a filing system using a spiral system development method based on the results of the evaluation study using lean six sigma method. System development using the spiral method consists of six processes, ie processes with user communications, process planning, process risk analysis, process design, implementation and testing process, and user evaluation process. The assessment is a lean six sigma methods of evaluation are used to detect a process that contains no added value, as well as search for sigma value of a production process. The results of this research can be used to establish a filing system that is able to assist the operational activities of the staff involved in achieving the goal to meet the needs and desires of consumers better, efficient and effective.

Abstract

In the process of teaching and learning activities in schools, there are still many that only use learning media in the form of books. This causes boredom in the learning process. Especially in basic computer and network subjects, where in this subject there is a lot of visual recognition and developing forms of technology. Good visual presentation is very important to support the learning process. Augmented Reality (AR) is a learning medium that is currently still being used in the teaching and learning process. AR is an application that combines the real world with the virtual world in two-dimensional or three-dimensional forms which are projected in a real environment at the same time. AR technology is very appropriate to be implemented to support the visualization process in learning activities, because it can present visualization in 3-dimensional form. So that the visualization is more interactive and more interesting. In the learning process at SMK Nufa Citra Mandir, they still rely on books only, especially in computer and basic network subjects which really need visualization of the devices discussed. The application of AR technology to basic computer and network subjects at SMK Nufa Citra Mandiri is expected to help in the learning process. In its development, the design method used is the Extreme Programming (XP). Purpose of this research is to create software with AR technology on Android platform, so that students can better understand and get to know computer tools and computer network devices contained in basic computer and network subjects.
