Abstract

AbstractThis research explains the role that parents should play in the educational process of their children during the Covid-19 pandemic. By using a qualitative descriptive approach to this type of research library, the researchers concluded that the role of parents in the current pandemic is becoming more urgent to develop children's character in a better direction. Three main points need to be internalized to children, namely religious education, social education, and moral education. Religious education is related to the issue of belief in God and all aspects related to Him. Social education is related to the cultivation of the values ​​of social interaction, both those originating from culture and religion and so on which have positive values. Meanwhile, moral education is related to the refraction of moral values, both individually and socially. Individual moral values ​​are related to how to treat oneself, while social moral values ​​are related to how to treat others well. Abstrak Penelitian ini menjelaskan peran yang sewajarnya dan patut untuk dilakanakan oleh orang tua dalam proses pendidikan anak-anak mereka di masa pandemic covid-19. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif jenis library research, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa peran orang tua di masa pandemi saat ini menjadi lebih urgen dalam rangka menumbuhkembangkan karakter anak ke arah yang lebih baik. Terdapat tiga poin utama yang perlu diinternalisasikan kepada anak, yaitu pendidikan agama, pendidikan sosial dan pendidikan akhlak. Pendidikan agama terkait dengan masalah keyakinan kepada Tuhan dan segala aspek yang berhubungan dengan-Nya. Pendidikan sosial berkaitan dengan penanaman nilai-nilai interaksi sosial, baik yang bersumber dari budaya dan agama dan sebagainya yang bernilai positif. Sementara pendidikan akhlak berkaitan dengan pembiasan nilai-nilai moral, baik individual maupun sosial. Nilai moral individual berkaitan dengan bagaimana memperlakukan diri, sementara nilai moral sosial berkaitan dengan bagaimana memperlakukan orang lain dengan baik. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of religious moderation education curriculum design in educational institutions, including  Mandiri Berbagi and Mandiri Berubah Curriculum Models, collaborative and separate curriculum design, and hidden curriculum design in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Wuluh and SMP 09 Ma'arif NU Ambulu in Jember. This study used a qualitative approach with the type of case study to describe and analyze the design of religious moderation education in educational institutions. Data collection was conducted by observing the activities of teachers and principals in designing a religious moderation education curriculum. At the same time, interviews were carried out with the principal, subject teacher, and the vice principal of curriculum involved in the design of religious moderation education. Data analysis follows the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models, including data condensation, data presentation, and inference. Furthermore, the validity of the data was ensured using source and technical triangulation. The findings of this study revealed 1) the application of religious moderation education curriculum with Mandiri Berbagi and Mandiri Berubah Curriculum Models, 2) the design of moderation education curriculum with collaborative model of ISMUBARIS (Islam, to-Muhammadiyah, Arabic and Islamic Cultural History) and a separate model between religious education and the teachings of Nahdatul Ulama, and 3) hidden curriculum on all subjects with the message of Islam wasathiyah and moderate Islamic messages of an-Nahdiya. This research contributes to policymakers, such as the government, the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of Religion, and all educational institutions, such as junior high schools and MTs, in implementing religious moderation education for application in the curriculum and learning of Islam.

Abstract

Era disrupsi meniscayakan kehidupan manusia tidak lagi linear dan susah diprediksi. Pilihannya hanya bergerak dengan berinovasi atau diam menjadi penonton. Sebagai salah satu elemen penting Islam, Pendidikan Islam dituntut untuk mampu bertransformasi dan beradaptasi dengan era ini seperti perubahan gaya belajar-mengajar, literasi digital, paradigma berfikir, perilaku pendidik maupun peserta didik hingga manajemen lembaga yang inovatif, liniear dengan dimensi-dimensi teknologi-digital yang tengah terjadi. Problem utamanya adalah upaya tersebut disinyalir akan merubah pendidikan Islam ke arah struktur yang bersifat materialistis. Tulisan ini secara simplifikatif menganalisa pendidikan Islam di era disrupsi dengan menggunakan paradigma strukturalisme transendental yang diperkenalkan oleh Kuntowijoyo. Struktur pendidikan Islam telah memenuhi ciri: 1) totalitas unsur yang dimiliki; 2) perubahan sebagai kekuatan pembentuk struktur, serta; 3) kemandirian sistem.
