Abstract

Based on Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation Article 1 number 13, a Terminal is "Public motorized vehicle base used to regulate arrivals and departures, raise and lower people and/or goods, and change modes of transportation". The existence of the terminal is one of the main infrastructure in public transport services and plays a very important role in determining the level of performance of public transport services in an area. Like the development of cities / regencies in general, Gorontalo is currently in a stage of high urbanization growth as a result of the rapid rate of population and economic growth so that the need for residents to travel or move will also increase, where this requires the provision of facilities and infrastructure. adequate transportation. With this facility, it is hoped that it can help and make it easier for people in Gorontalo and its surroundings when they want to travel outside the city/region. The Isimu Type A bus terminal is the main terminal in Gorontalo Regency, which is a type A terminal that has been operating for a long time. Currently, the existing facilities at the Isimu Terminal still do not meet the standard type A bus terminal set by the Ministry of Transportation. With the application of modern architectural concepts through data collection from literature studies and direct surveys related to objects, it is expected to be able to create comfort and simplify and support all user activities in it.Keywords: Your Content Terminal, Passengers, Modern ArchitectureBerdasarkan Undang-undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan Pasal 1 nomor 13, Terminal adalah “Pangkalan kendaraan bermotor umum yang digunakan untuk mengatur kedatangan dan keberangkatan, menaikkan dan menurunkan orang dan/atau barang, serta perpindahan moda angkutan”. Keberadaan terminal merupakan salah satu prasarana utama dalam pelayanan angkutan umum dan sangat berperan dalam menentukan tingkat kinerja dari pelayanan angkutan umum dalam suatu wilayah. Seperti perkembangan kota / kabupaten pada umumnya di Gorontalo pada saat ini berada dalam tahap pertumbuhan urbanisasi yang tinggi sebagai akibat adanya laju pertumbuhan penduduk dan ekonomi yang pesat sehingga kebutuhan penduduk untuk melakukan perjalanan ataupun pergerakan akan meningkat pula, dimana hal ini menuntut adanya penyediaan sarana dan prasarana transportasi yang memadai. Dengan sarana ini diharapkan dapat membantu dan mempermudah masyarakat yang ada di Gorontalo dan sekitarnya apabila ingin melakukan perjalanan keluar kota/daerah. Terminal bus Isimu Tipe A merupakan terminal utama yang berada di Kabupaten Gorontalo yang merupakan terminal tipe A yang sudah lama beroperasi. Saat ini fasilitas yang ada di Terminal Isimu masih belum memenuhi standar terminal bus tipe A yang sudah diatur oleh Kementerian Perhubungan. Dengan penerapan konsep arsitektur modern melalui pengumpulan data dari studi literatur dan survey langsung yang berkaitan dengan objek, Diharapkan bisa menciptakan kenyamanan dan mempermudah serta menunjang segala aktivitas pengguna yang ada didalamnya. Kata Kunci: Terminal Isimu, Penumpang, Arsitektur Modern

Abstract

Dance arts in Gorontalo have evolved through the efforts of local arts communities and dance studios such as Pajongge Dancer, Sanggar Makuta, Otanaha Dancer, and many other art groups. However, these traditional dance forms face significant challenges, including a lack of dancer regeneration and inadequare facilities to support talent development and art presevarvation. These challenges highlight the urgent need to establish a Dance Arts Center Gorontalo, design as a space for training, performances, and preservation traditional dance. The primary goal of this development is to preserve local cultural heritage. Thr Dance Arts Center is evisuined to architectural elements that embody Gorontalo’s movement and cultural values, making it physical facility and a means of strengthing the region cultural identity and serving as a symbol of local pride. Data was collected through interviews with dance studio owners, field surbeys, and references from journals, articles, and bookks to enhance the design process. With architectural expression appoarrch, the building is design to express symbolic and emotional meanings alinged with the fungtion of the Dance Arts Center, blending dance movements with local cultural values. Through harmonious and meaningful design, the building will communicate cultural messages to the public. With adequate facilities, the Dance Arts Center will play a key role in raising public awareness about the importance of cultural heritage while supporting the preveration and development of the arts, particulary Gorontalo;s traditional dance.
