Abstract

One thing that must be considered during menstruation is personal hygiene and the impact of personal hygiene during menstruation is vaginal discharge. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between knowledge and personal hygiene behavior during menstruation in adolescents. The population in this study were 35 young women. Sampling in this study total population technique (total sampling) with a total sample of 35 respondents. Data using univariate and bivariate Chi Square tests, obtained the results of having sufficient knowledge and positive behavior in performing Personal Hygiene During Menstruation, namely 15 respondents (65.2%). Statistical test results obtained p value 0.196 > 0.005, which means there is no relationship between the level of knowledge and the behavior of adolescent girls about personal hygiene during menstruation. Therefore, it is hoped that here there will be cooperation between health workers and the orphanage, especially in terms of providing complete information at the Aisyiyah Orphanage

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic which causes death worldwide is a very important health problem to pay attention to. Rapid transmission through the air and in crowded places makes us have to be careful and always apply health protocols, one of which is to wear masks both inside and outside the room. Parents have a role in educating, being role models for children, and reminding children to always maintain personal hygiene, and use masks during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: This research is analytic by using a cross-sectional approach. Sampling technique using total sampling. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test at a significance level of p<0.05. Results: The majority of parents contributed to the use of masks 68.8% compared to those who did not use masks 31.2%. While parents who do not play a role in the use of masks 87.5% are more dominant than those who do not use masks by 12.5%. The chi-square statistical test results showed a P < 0.05 (P = 0.000). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between the role of parents and the use of masks, the value of P <0.05 (P = 0.000).

Abstract

Eating snacks is one thing that could potentially affect the nutritional status of school children. Nutritional status is more or less nutritional status will affect the value or the learning process at school. Snack foods contributed respectively reach to 22.9% and 15.9% of the total energy and protein intake of elementary school children. A preliminary survey conduct on 10 students, consisting 8 of them admitted that often the snack. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship eating snacks and nutritional status of school children in SDN 42 Pekanbaru. This research is a quantitative analytic with cross sectional design. The experiment was conducted at SDN 42 Pekanbaru. The population sample of 463 people and 82 people with stratified random sampling technique. Data were obtained from questionnaires, measurement of height and weight directly to the respondent. Statistical analysis using chi-square. The results of the univariate analysis of the majority of respondents answered frequent snacks (63.4%) and consisting of 52 people are consuming unhealthy snacks. The results of chi-square analysis obtained P value <α (0.042 <0.05). which means there is any significant association eat snacks with nutritional status. Parents and the school, is expected to pay more attention to hygiene and nutritional snacks that regular consumption of school children, because what they were used to, will affect the nutritional status of children.

Abstract

ABSTRACT menstrual cycle are a series of events that are complexly affecting each other and occur simultaneously. Menstrual cycle can be influenced by stress factors. Stress is a perception of a threat or from a shadow of displeaseru that moves, alerts or activates an organism. Based on data obtained from the department of education the city of pekanbaru, it is known that schools which have the highest number of girls at SMAN 5 pekanbaru with the highest number of 639 people, while classes X and XI total 395 people and obtain information 8 people claimed to experince menstrual cycles that are not normal and as many as 6 of them experienced symptoms of stress. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between stress levels and menstrual cycle in young women at SMAN 5 pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative with cross sectional design. The population is all young women and a sample of 80 people, taken by stratified random sampling technique. Data analysis was performed univariately and bivariately. The results obtained bye the majority of respondents had a moderate stress level of 31 people (38.8%) and for the menstrual cycle variable obtained the majority of respondents had a short menstrual cycle of 33 people (41.2%). Chi sqaure test results obtained p.value=0.012 <0.05, which means there is a relationship between the level of stress with the menstrual cycle in girls in SMAN 5 pekanbaru in 2019. being input and learning materials that add insight and increase knowledge for students at SMAN 5 cities pekanbaru.
