Abstract

School is one of the places to study. There are so many schools that can be alternatives for learning places, making students successfully graduate from Junior High School or Madrasah Tsanawiyah tends to be confused about which school is the best for them to take to a higher level. In 2019, there were around 7,168 students from 125 Juniors High Schools or Madrasah Tsanawiyah and there were around 52 Senior High or Vocational Schools in East Kotawaringin. The method that can be used to help make decisions is to use the TOPSIS or Technique for Order Preference by similarity to the Ideal Solution method. The topsis method is a method that can provide a way out of a number of alternatives where there will be a solution, which is the best alternative and the worst alternative to the alternative problems. Here the authors provide a number of data with 8 alternative high schools or public vocational schools and 8 criteria used to support this method. Based on this research, the results obtained are SMA Negeri 1 Sampit is worth 22.3%, SMA Negeri 2 Sampit is worth 91.87%, SMA Negeri 3 Sampit is worth 98.52%, SMA Negeri 4 Sampit is worth 91.22%, SMK Negeri 1 Sampit is worth 97.68%, SMK Negeri 2 Sampit is worth 97.47%, SMK Negeri 3 Sampit is worth 0.43%, and SMK Negeri 4 Sampit is worth 84.51%. With this method, students can choose which high school or public vocational school has the best alternative value.

Abstract

The development of an increasingly rapid era makes information technology one of the most important parts of life. The use of information technology is widely used in various fields, one of which is government agencies. Government agencies that use information technology are BAWASLU. BAWASLU (General Election Supervisory Body) is one of the many government agencies in Indonesia. BAWASLU uses the website to provide information related to the ELECTION (General Election). One method that can be used to determine whether the Website has a standardized framework of information technology management practices is COBIT. The latest COBIT was released in 2012 with COBIT version 5. COBIT 5 (Control Objective for Information and related Technology) is a framework consisting of a best practice guide that contains information technology governance activities that focus on control and not on execution or implementation. Here the author chooses a domain based on the data sources that have been obtained. The domains used are EDM02, EDM05, and MEA01. Based on the results of research conducted on the BAWASLU website, EDM02 is at level 3 (Established Process), EDM05 is at level 2 (Managed Process), and MEA01 is at level 2 (Managed Process). With this method, the author can conclude that the current BAWASLU website has reached the stage.

Abstract

The process of processing employee data and administrative services for correspondence with a large volume of data within the Office of Manpower and Transmigration of the East Kotawaringin Regency raises problems related to the effectiveness and efficiency of the process as a result of a work system that is still manual. This study aims to develop a model of data processing information systems and correspondence to be able to improve organizational performance. The User-Centered Design method is used in developing system models so that user adaptation to information systems can occur properly. The User-Centered Design method engages users at various stages during the design and testing process to discuss user requirements. System functions in the form of managing personnel administration and employee family data, with data on incoming and outgoing letters as well as other letters such as Certificates for Obtaining Employee Family Allowance Payments (KP4) and Periodic Letters of the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) are tested through the Blackbox Test. The test results show that all functional features work validly.Keywords: Personnel; Correspondence; Functional requirements; User-Centered Design; Black Box TestingAbstrakProses pengolahan data pegawai dan layanan administrasi surat menyurat dengan volume data yang besar di lingkungan Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur, menimbulkan masalah terkait efektivitas dan efisiensi proses sebagai akibat dari sistem kerja yang masih manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model sistem informasi pengolahan data dan surat menyurat untuk dapat meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Metode User-Centered Design digunakan dalam pengembangan model sistem agar adaptasi pengguna terhadap sistem informasi dapat terjadi dengan baik. Metode User-Centered Design melibatkan pengguna di berbagai tahapan selama proses desain dan pengujian untuk mendiskusikan kebutuhan pengguna. Fungsi-fungsi sistem berupa pengelolaan administrasi kepegawaian dan data keluarga pegawai, dengan data surat-surat masuk dan surat keluar serta surat-surat lain seperti Surat Keterangan Untuk Mendapatkan Pembayaran Tunjangan Keluarga pegawai (KP4) dan Surat Berkala BKD diuji melalui Uji Balckbox. Hasil uji menunjukkan seluruh fitur fungsional telah bekerja secara valid.Kata kunci: Kepegawaian; Surat menyurat; Kebutuhan fungsional; User-Centered Design; Pengujian Black Box
