Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is kind of diseases often suffered by elderly people and it marked by increase of glucose rate in blood. Many kind of therapy have been done to cure their hiperglikemia both farmacology and non farmacology. One of non farmacology therapy that can be their alternative is tera exercise. Tera exercise can decrease hiperglikemia by increasing glucose uptake in skeletal muscle and repairing of insulin sensitivity. This research aimed to find out the influence of tera exercise to blood glucose level. This research used Pra experiment desigh by one group pre-test and post-test design. The number of sample was 35 elderly people whom suffering diabetes mellitus. The blood glucose level of each sample is measured before and after tera exercise, then the different of them is analized to identify the influence of tera exercise. By using sample paired t-test, the result of this research is t count value 14,082, t table value 2,032. Regarding that t count > t-table so Ho is rejected. It can be conclude that tera exercise have influence to blood glukose level in elderly people with diabetes mellitus in Sumbersari Disctric Jember Recidance.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (Hemoptysis) is the most common disease found in society today. Repeated hemoptysis should be suspected as a serious illness, so this causes anxiety for the client. The purpose of this study was to study the factors associated with anxiety in clients with hemoptysis in the Kalisat Kalisat International space at Jember Regency. This research design This study uses a "Cross Sectional" research design. In this study variable measurements were carried out at one time, where each subject was only observed once, that is, data was taken once and carried out in July 2012 in the Internal Room of Kalisat Hospital. Sample sample of 21 respondents with hemoptysis. Analysis of research data using the Linear Regression statistical test with a significance level of error of 5% or a significance level of 95%. Based on the relationship test conducted using the Linear Regression test, the significance value p = 0,000 was obtained, meaning that there was a relationship between age and anxiety level in patients with hemoptysis. Based on the relationship test conducted using the Linear Regression test, the significance value p = 0.003 means that there is a relationship between education and anxiety levels in patients with hemoptysis. Based on the relationship test conducted using the Linear Regression test, the significance value of p = 0.004 means that there is a relationship between work and anxiety levels in patients with hemoptysis. Need to do more in-depth research on the factors that influence the level of client anxiety. So that it can be arranged a special measurement tool in the measurement of anxiety levels that are better able to reflect the picture of the actual level of anxiety

Abstract

Patients are motivated and trust to go to non-health care because non-health is considered capable of treating the disease. Non-health treatment A in 2012 increased about 30% from 2012 the number of visits reached 80 patients, reaching 104 patients in 2013. While non-health treatment B in 2013 experienced an increase of about 19% from 90 patients an increase of 107 patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of community motivation for treatment with the selection of health services. This study included a correlation study with a population of 960 households. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling technique that is the people who go to non-health workers are 96 families. The measured variable was the motivation of the community to seek treatment and the choice of health services. The results showed the motivation of medical treatment with moderate motivation was 68.8%, strong motivation was 20.8%, weak motivation was 10.4%. Whereas the community chooses non-health service providers 60.4% and 39.6% of health workers. From the results of the data analysis test using the Spearman Rank obtained p-value 0,000, at a significant level of p α (alpha) 0.05 so that Ho was rejected, which means there is a relationship between community motivation for treatment with the selection of health services in Pace Village, Silo District, Jember Regency in 2014 Where KK obtained 0.35 which has a moderate relationship.The advice given is the need to increase counseling activities about medical treatment and procedures for the management of Jamkesmas by health workers to improve the degree of community health in Pace Village

Abstract

The difference in blood pressure before and after exercise walking in elderly people with a history of hypertension in the Sumberbaru Health Center District of Jember recidence. Elderly is the process of becoming older with age reaching 45 years of age or older. The number of elderly in Indonesia amounted to 19.3 million (8.37%) of the total population of Indonesia), the number of elderly in Jawa Timur 11.16%. in Sumberbaru health centers in February 2014 there were as many as 45 elderly people suffering from hypertension. The aim of this study was to analyze differences in blood pressure before and after exercise walking in elderly people with a history of hypertension. The research is a Quasi-Experiment with design one group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study amounted to 45 people. Sample size is 12 people with porpusive sampling technique. Research results obtained by the average blood pressure before walking downhill after walking 1.7611 by 0.083 into 1.528, Based on the paired t test obtained results that the significance value of 0.000> 0.05, meaning that there is a difference walking on blood pressure. The conclusion of this study there was no difference in blood pressure before and after exercise walking in elderly people with a history of hypertension in the Sumberbaru Health Center District of Jember recidence
