Abstract

Current public views about the quality of health services are related to patient satisfaction which can affect public health and community welfare. Based on data obtained in the Mayang Community Health Center area, it shows that there is a lack of attention from officers, especially mothers who will give birth, so that the number of births delivered by dukun is higher than that of health workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of maternal satisfaction with delivery services by health workers to be improved. This research uses descriptive research. The sampling technique used was a total sampling technique using 52 mothers giving birth assisted by health workers in April 2008. The measuring instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Based on the results of research conducted on the level of maternal satisfaction with childbirth services for health workers in the Mayang Health Center region shows that the level of satisfaction with the quality of delivery services by health workers in the Mayang Health Center area with the largest number said expectations and perceptions were satisfied at 31 mothers (57.4% ). And 23 mothers (42.6%) said they were very satisfied while there were no mothers who showed dissatisfaction and were very dissatisfied. The mother's satisfaction is obtained because the expectation value is in accordance with her perception.

Abstract

Depression is sadness and worry in a long time accompanied by feelings of worthlessness. The cause of depression is the lack of positive reinforcement, especially in the elderly who lack support from his family often associated with depression syndrome. This study was to determine the relationship of family support with the level of depression in the elderly at UPT PSLU Bondowoso. This type of correlational research with obsevasional design. The research sample of 46 elderly using simple random sampling technique with age maching: 1) 60-64; 2) 65-69; 3) 70-74; 4) 75-79; 5) 80-84; 6) 85-89, with inclusion criteria willing to be respondents and can be measured family support and the level of depression. Analysis using Spearman-rank corellation with significance level α <0.05. The results of research on elderly family support at UPT PSLU Bondowoso in the May-June 2014 period showed that most of the family support was good (10.9%) and moderate family support (80.5%), and family support was less (8.7%) . Most of the minor depressions were (54.3%), and a small portion were not depressed (8.7%) and moderate depression (37.0%) and there were no major depressions. The Spearman-rank correlation test results showed a significant relationship between family support and the level of depression in the elderly in Bondowoso PSLU, with a value of 0,000 (p <0.05). Suggestions for families should provide full support to the elderly in the family in order to provide scope for socializing

Abstract

Hypertension in the elderly is one of the disorders of the cardiovascular system caused by decreased elasticity of the arteries, the management of hypertension can do healthy heart exercises (Damayanti, 2014). The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in blood pressure in patients with hypertension before and after doing a healthy heart gymnastics in the elderly post Jember. This research method uses a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test design without using a control group with a population of 56 elderly. Sampling using simple random sampling technique with a sample of 40 elderly. Data collection instrument by measuring with the intervention of healthy heart exercises within 30 minutes for 4 times a week. After the data were collected, it was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test statistical test to get an Asymp Sig of 0.001. So it can be concluded that the p value of 0.001 means that there is a significant decrease in blood pressure in the elderly after healthy heart exercises. The conclusion in this study there are differences in blood pressure in patients with hypertension before and after doing a healthy heart gymnastics in the Elderly Posyandu Jember. Suggestions are expected to be used as an intervention for the management of hypertension in patients with hypertension

Abstract

Diabetic ulcers are the most feared complication of diabetes mellitus patients because the reduced blood supply to the tissue causes tissue death and is aggravated by bacterial infections that can cause amputation and even have wide impact because it can cause death, morbidity, increased treatment costs, and decreased quality of life. The incidence of foot ulcers in patients with diabetes mellitus is 1-4% and 10-30 times as much as foot ulcers causing the risk of amputation (toe, foot or lower leg). It is estimated that every year one million patients suffering from diabetic ulcers undergo amputation of the lower limb (85%) and a mortality rate of 15-40% annually and 39-80% every 5 years. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of diabetic ulcers in diabetics with body image at the Umbulsari Health Center. The research design used was analytic survey with coss sectional design. The sample in this study was taken by Probability Sample with a type of Consecutive Sampling that is a diabetic ulcer sufferer who performs an examination at Puskesmas Ambsari. This research was conducted by observing / observing the degree of injury for diabetic ulcers and questionnaire sheets for body image. The results of this study were analyzed using the statistical test Spearman rank test. The results of the analysis showed that first-degree injuries were 22 respondents (55%), second-degree injuries were 17 respondents (42.5%), and third-degree injuries were 1 respondent (2.5%). While the results of body image in people with diabetes mellitus as many as 13 respondents (32.5%) had a negative body image, while 27 respondents (67.5%) had a positive body image. The results of the analysis of the two variables obtained by the value of p value Sig. (two tailed) of 0.023 α α (0.05) which indicates that there is a relationship between diabetic ulcers in diabetics with the body image of the Umbulsari Health Center
