Abstract

Effectiveness of Time and Dosage for Giving NPK to the Production of Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) in the Highlands. pp. 28-31. Sweet corn plants will not provide maximum results if the nutrients needed are not enough. Fertilization can increase yields quantitatively and qualitatively. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fertilizing time and the ideal dose for sweet corn. This research was carried out in Mojorejo Village, Selupu Rejang District, Rejang Lebong Regency at an altitude of + 0.050 meters above sea level (m asl). This study uses Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAKF). Observations and measurements were carried out on the main variables in the form of fruit weight, ear length and ear diameter without cornhusk (generative parts) as well as supporting variables such as plant height and number of leaves (vegetative parts). All data are analyzed by variance, and if F table is greater than F, the count is tested further using DMRT. The results showed 50 grams of NPK fertilizer significantly different from the average plant height and not significantly different from fertilization time.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan berbagai genotipe kopi arabika di dataran tinggi Jang Hiang Bong dan mendapatkan genotipe kopi arabika potensial untuk dibudiayakan pada dataran tinggi Jang Hiang Bong. Percobaan ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap yang dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Universitas Pat Petulai. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, luas kanopi, luas sepasang daun, dan jumlah cabang produktif. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan setiap genotipe menampilkan respon pertumbuhan yang berbeda-beda. Respon pertumbuhan terbaik didapatkan pada perlakuan G6 (Genotipe M-97), yang menunjukkan pengaruh positif terhadap tinggi tanaman, luas kanopi, dan jumlah cabang produktif. Semua perlakuan menunjukkan respon yang tidak berbeda nyata terhadap diameter batang dan luas sepasang daun.

Abstract

The limitations of paddy fields can be overcome by the use of dry land through the application of the Aerobic Rice system. To increase rice production, the application of organic fertilizer is used as organic material that can improve the characteristics of dry land to nutrients available to plants. This study aims to determine the dose of goat manure that can increase the growth and yield of rice plants through the application of Aerobic Rice technology so as to be able to overcome the problems faced by people in Rejang Lebong District on land productivity and rice productivity. This study used factorial Randomized Complete Design, namely varieties and doses of goat manure on the Aerobic Rice system which were repeated three times. The results showed that real interactions were shown in the nine characters growth and yield observed, namely plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, flowering age, harvest age, panicle number, panicle length and number of pellets and number of pellets per clump. The difference in varieties is clearly indicated by the eight characters of growth and results observed, namely plant height, flowering age, harvest age, panicle length, number of pithy grains, weighted grain weight and number of pithy grains per clump. The application of goat manure doses also significantly affected twelve characters observed such as plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, age of flowering, harvest age, number of panicles, panicle length, number of rice grains, weight of grains, number of grains per clump, grain weight per clump and weight of 100 grains.
