Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan; (1) mengidentifikasi struktur teks dan tekstur teks pada narasi bahasa Jawa anak laki-laki dan anak perempuan dalam bercerita pada “Frog Where Are You?” dan (2) membandingkan kualitas bahasa Jawa anak perempuan dan anak laki-laki usia 15 tahun dalam bercerita pada “Frog Where Are You?” Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikolinguistik. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah anak laki-laki dan perempuan usia 15 tahun. Data penelitian ini adalah data kebahasaan berupa narasi yang dihasilkan anak usia 15 tahun dalam buku “Frog Where Are You?”. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik teknik rekam, dan teknik simak dengan teknik lanjutan berupa tahap transkripsi dan klasifikasi. Data yang sudah diklasifikasi diidentifikasi berdasarkan struktur dan tekstur teks yang meliputi tata gramatika dan tata leksikal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) struktur teks anak laki-laki dan perempuan mencakup orientasi, komplikasi, evaluasi, dan resolusi. Tekstur teks meliputi tata gramatika dan tata leksikal. Narasi anak laki-laki memiliki jumlah kesalahan gramatika sebanyak 7 kalimat. Jenis kalimat yang digunakan ialah jenis kalimat kompleks. Jumlah kosakata 8, istilah teknik 2 dan tidak ditemukan nominalisasi. Selanjutnya untuk tata leksikal narasi anak laki-laki memiliki jumlah kalimat sebanyak 37 dan borrowing bahasa Indonesia sebanyak 14 kata dan 4 frasa. Sementara itu, untuk narasi anak perempuan terdapat kesalahan gramatika sebanyak 5 kalimat, yaitu kurang subjek, double subjek, dan double predikat. Jenis kalimat pada narasi anak perempuan merupakan jenis kalimat kompleks hipotaktik. Jumlah kosakata 7, istilah teknik 2, dan tidak ditemukan nominalsisai. Untuk tata leksikal narasi anak perempuan memiliki jumlah kalimat sebanyak 36 dan borrowing bahasa Indonesia sebanyak 24 kata dan 1 frasa. (2) Bahasa Jawa anak laki-laki lebih baik dibanding anak perempuan. Anak perempuan lebih terampil dalam membuat kalimat dalam bercerita dengan menggunakan kata penghubung dan menyisipkan pinjaman bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was intended to identify the sctructure and texture of the text in a child’s story Kesetiaan Merpati by M. Syafii Masykur in addition to reviewing the language worthiness which is used by children under five years of age. The design of this research was qualitative descriptive research using the discourse analysis approach. The source of data in this research was the children's book story Kesetiaan Merpati, the data from this research was a lingual unit of words, clauses, or sentences found in children’s book story Kesetiaan Merpati. The data was collected by using the responsive technique and note-taking technique. To fulfill the aim of this research the data was taken by using a criterion-based sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using the distributional method and interactive analysis, which were data collection, data reduction, data presentation, deduction, and verification. The research found in the text structure of children's story Kesetiaan Merpati, there were orientation, complications, evaluation, resolution, and coda. Meanwhile, textual texture in the children’s story Kesetiaan Merpati consisted of grammatical and lexical. The narration of Kesetiaan Merpati found 45 grammatical errors; among these were ineffective sentence in 5 sentences, infrequent punctuation in 4 sentences, uneconomical word as 4, infrequent use of words as 4, the error of phonology as 3, the error of morphology as 1, the error of conjunction as 3, double subject as 2, the error of preposition as 1, the negative clause as 2, vocabulary as 8, nominalization as 6, technique term as 2 and the type of sentence used were paratactic and hypotactic complex. Hereinafter, on lexical of narration in 56 sentences. From the grammatical mistaken identification of the book story Kesetiaan Merpati by M. Syafii Maskur, it was not worthy to be given to a child under 5 years of age. This was seen in the many grammatical errors of a vocabulary that is difficult and uneasily understood by children of that age, as well as the clauses and metaphors.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine what grammatical aspects are used in the Sentilan Sentilun discourse "DPR Library for Whom?" and what grammatical aspects are most dominantly used in the discourse. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research needs to be done to find out the grammatical aspects of Sentilan Sentilun discourse. In addition, this research is also expected to add the enrichment of research on talk show discourse. This study uses discourse analysis techniques. The data source in this study is the Sentilan Sentilun talk show "DPR Library for Whom?". The data in this study are lingual units in the form of words, clauses, or sentences contained in the speech of the Sentilan Sentilun talk show " DPR Library for Whom?". The data in the study were analyzed using discourse analysis techniques, namely descriptive text analysis, interpretation, and explanation. The results of this study found several grammatical aspects contained in the Sentilan Sentilun text, including references, substitutions, ellipsis, and conjunctions. There are 3 forms of reference grammatical aspects: personal reference, demonstrative reference, and comparative reference. Persona references are 195, demonstrative references are 274, and comparative references are 2. The following grammatical aspect is substitution. The substitution in the Sentilan Sentilun talk show discourse is only in 2 clauses. In addition, the discourse of the Sentilan Sentilun talk show, grammatical aspects of the ellipsis were also found. The ellipsis contained in the discourse consists of 20 words, 31 phrases, 2 clauses, and 1 sentence. While the grammatical aspects of conjunctions are found in several forms, causality is 20 contradictions, 31 excesses 5, objectives 1, additives 20, as many as 13 alternatives, and sequential as many as 7. The dominant grammatical aspect that appears is the demonstrative reference, with a total 274. Keyword: discourse analysis, talkshow discourse, grammatical aspects.

Abstract

Many universities have integrated technology through the utilization of Learning Management System (LMS) into the process of teaching and learning especially in the post Covid-19 Pandemic. Google Classroom is one of the platforms used by the lecturers and students. The purpose of this study is to determine the lecturers' and students’ perception of the implementation of online learning using Google Classroom in the Post Covid-19 pandemic. The subjects of the research were the lecturers and students of English Education Program of University of Indragiri. There were 15 lecturers and 62 students involved in this study. They were selected using the purposive sampling technique. The researcher collected the data through questionnaires adapted from Harjanto (2019) and Afriani (2021) and then the data were classified based on the indicators. Descriptive quantitative design was applied in this study. In general, the results revealed that the lecturers and students had positive perception in using Google Classroom in post Covid Pandemic.

Abstract

In the practices of social life in various regions and tribes, there are still many gender injustices. Placing women as weak and do not have the same rights as men. This gender injustice is reflected in literary works, one of which is the short story A Pair of Imprisoned Dinaya Eyes by Ni Komang Ariani. This research aims to describe and explain the form of gender injustice contained in the short story A Pair of Imprisoned Dinaya Eyes by Ni Komang Ariani. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method using a feminist literary criticism approach. The data source is the short story A Pair of Imprisoned Dinaya Eyes by Ni Komang Ariani. In contrast, the data in this study are quotations from short stories, which are the problem and the purpose study. The results of the study show that there is gender inequality in the short story A Pair of Imprisoned Dinaya Eyes by Ni Komang Ariani, namely that women only take care of the household with domestic tasks, accept arranged marriages, are not allowed to work outside, and only serve their husbands, and female characters only do silent fight.
