Abstract

Scheduling is a complex and time-consuming process, and there are many things to be adjusted. Therefore, the conventional scheduling can be completed by using the Genetic Algorithm method. This research is to solve the problem of scheduling on the activities of UKM (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa)//Student Activity Unit) Sport at Unimed, by using the search technique simultaneously on a number of solutions that might be known as population term. Individuals which exist in one individual population contained in one population are called chromosomes. This chromosome is a solution that is still a symbol. The initial population is randomly constructed, while the population is the result of the evolution of chromosomes through literacy called generation. Using this Genetic Algorithm scheduling plan would bring benefits to the user because scheduling can be seen on the computer and in preparing of the next schedule, there won’t be a problem or conflict.

Abstract

Tempe as a national food and local wisdom is expected to become more popular in the world. To realize this, more vigorous promotion is needed. Tempe is one of the functional foods that has antioxidant, antimicrobial, anticancer, antihypertensive, antithrombotic and hypocholesterolemic properties. The most effective and subtle way of popularizing something to the global market is through socio-economic diplomacy. One of them, is through culinary diplomacy. In addition, a synergy between local wisdom and information technology is needed that is beneficial for the progress of the nation. So, it is necessary to make an application in English to introduce tempeh food for international information. The outputs of this application are: 1) History of Tempe; 2) Video of the tempe industry in Indonesia; 3) How to make processed tempeh (contains text and video); 4) Video recipes for various types of tempeh; 5) Video sharing of processed tempeh recipes from application members; 6) Visitors can buy tempeh from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs); and 7) Links to Websites of Indonesian Embassies (KBRI) around the world. The curious effect that this application wants to build is to make visitorscome to Indonesia so as to increase the world of tourism by making tempeh as culinary diplomacy such as: 1) more foreign investment goes to Indonesia; 2) a larger market abroad is open for Indonesian commodity products; and 3) more foreign tourists come to Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the e-commerce industry, including the improvement of data-driven services such as product recommendation systems. Marketplace Buket, which provides various types of bouquets online, faces the challenge of understanding consumer preferences to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. To address this challenge, this study implements the Collaborative Filtering (CF) method as an approach in building a recommendation system capable of analyzing user behavior patterns based on consumer rating data for products. The CF method allows the system to identify user preferences by comparing similarities between consumer behaviors. By utilizing rating data, the system can recommend products that are relevant and in line with the user's interests, even if the user has never viewed or purchased the product before. This study tests the effectiveness of the recommendation system using real-world data and observing the results of recommendations given to specific users. The results show that the system can provide product recommendations with a high level of relevance, such as products I24 and I26 which are at the top of the recommendation list. In addition to providing relevant results, the system is designed with a simple interface for easy use by general users. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of CF not only improves the quality of the user experience but also contributes to service efficiency and potential sales increases, including in intercity areas. Overall, this research provides an important contribution to the development of data-driven marketing strategies and lays the foundation for the future development of more complex recommendation systems.
