Abstract

The time out method is effective in stimulating discipline in early childhood. The success factor of the time-out method can be found in the age difference that causes different stages of development in each child which includes cognitive development, moral development, discipline, and the consistent role of parents and teachers in the implementation of the correct time-out procedure, especially the provision of rewards following aim. Disciplinary education needs to be instilled in children from an early age that if children make mistakes they will certainly receive consequences, for this reason, the punishment function in children's education. Discipline is a behavioral value that can be done by force and can be done voluntarily. In early childhood, this form of discipline must be implemented voluntarily and through play. Teachers, the community, and parents are the most influential factors in disciplining children.

Abstract

The role of parents for their children is as a guide in growth and development and also character planting. Parents are first and foremost responsible for the education of their children. Assertiveness is an ability to communicate what is desired, confidently, decisively, honestly, while maintaining the feelings of others. Assertiveness can be instilled from an early age because by having an assertive attitude a child will get used to and easily socialize with an effective age environment. Furthermore, children will be able to express what they feel and want directly, honest children will avoid the emergence of uncomfortable feelings due to holding and keeping something they want to say. The role of parents in instilling an assertive attitude during this Covid-19 pandemic in children must be very high and it is highly expected that parents can provide a good foothold and stimulus for their children so that children have a good attitude. Children who are instilled assertiveness by their parents can easily find solutions and solutions to various problems they face. Parents are the right place to instill an assertive attitude in children from as early as possible, because assertiveness is not something outward but rather a pattern of attitudes and behavior that is learned repeatedly. And if the child chooses to be assertive, the parents are more direct with words and polite ways

Abstract

Abstract Indonesia, which has the largest Muslim population in the world, is half female. The Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia provides equal space for men and women in education. However, the principle of gender equality in Islam is sometimes ignored, and unfair treatment is legitimised by interpretations of religious texts. In fact, leadership in Islam does not distinguish between men and women; however, in the pesantren environment, female leaders are still considered taboo by the local community. The symbol of gender segregation in pesantren is manifested in the strict segregation between male and female santri. Male dormitories are often placed more prominently, while female dormitories are often placed at the back and closed. The leadership of pesantren is generally male, which affects the management of education and the division of roles in it. Women are considered to have a role in the domestic sphere and do not have the same role as men in the public sphere. In addition, the leadership of pesantren tends to be passed down from generation to generation to sons, excluding daughters even though they have the same abilities. Female caregivers in pesantren are only considered as successors, while the power over leaders in pesantren is traditionally only owned by boys. These difficulties hinder women's leadership potential in the pesantren environment, resulting in a gap in the provision of rights and opportunities between men and women in the religious context.AbstrakIndonesia, yang memiliki populasi Muslim terbesar di dunia, separuhnya adalah perempuan. Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia memberikan ruang yang sama antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam dunia pendidikan. Namun, prinsip kesetaraan gender dalam Islam terkadang diabaikan, dan perlakuan tidak adil dilegitimasi oleh penafsiran teks agama. Faktanya, kepemimpinan dalam Islam  tidak membedakan antara laki-laki dan perempuan; Namun di lingkungan pesantren, pemimpin perempuan masih dianggap tabu oleh masyarakat setempat. Simbol segregasi gender di pesantren diwujudkan dalam segregasi yang tegas antara santri laki-laki dan santri perempuan. Asrama laki-laki seringkali ditempatkan lebih menonjol, sedangkan asrama perempuan sering ditempatkan  di bagian belakang dan tertutup. Kepemimpinan pesantren pada umumnya adalah laki-laki, hal ini mempengaruhi pengelolaan pendidikan dan pembagian peran di dalamnya. Perempuan dianggap mempunyai peran di ranah domestik dan tidak mempunyai peran yang sama dengan laki-laki di ranah publik. Selain itu, kepemimpinan pesantren cenderung diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi kepada anak laki-laki, tidak termasuk anak perempuan meskipun mereka memiliki kemampuan yang sama. Pengasuh perempuan di pesantren hanya dianggap sebagai penerus, sedangkan kekuasaan atas pemimpin di pesantren secara tradisional hanya dimiliki oleh anak laki-laki. Kesulitan-kesulitan tersebut menghambat potensi kepemimpinan perempuan di lingkungan pesantren sehingga menimbulkan kesenjangan dalam pemberian hak dan kesempatan antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam konteks agama..

Abstract

Persoalan stunting menjadi isu kesehatan nasional yang banyak disebabkan oleh rendahnya literasi kesehatan yang dimiliki para ibu. Karya tulis ilmiah ini lebih fokus membahas mengenai fenomena stunting pada anak usia dini serta pentingnya literasi bagi seorang ibu dalam pencegahan stunting. Karya tulis ilmiah ini menggunakan metode tinjauan pustaka dan penulisan deskriptif dengan menggunakan sumber sekunder dan primer.Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tinjauan pustaka ke perpustakan dan pengumpulan buku-buku, bahan-bahan tertulis serta referensi-referensi yang relevan dengan penelitian yang sedang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa fenomena tingginya kasus stunting pada anak usia dini disebabkan oleh rendahnya literasi ibu terhadap kesehatan dan persoalan stunting. Literasi berperan penting dalam pencegahan stunting dengan menumbuhkan kesadaran dan kecakapan tindakan para ibu dalam pemberian makanan dan pengasuhan pada anak. Apabila ibu berliterasi maka mereka akan memiliki kesadaran dan kepekaan yang tinggi terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak serta memerhatikan asupan gizi pada masa tumbuh kembang anak. Oleh karena itu literasi penting bagi ibu sebagai upaya dalam pencegahan stunting.
