Abstract

Dampak pandemi Covid-19 sangat berpengaruh pada sistem pendidikan di Indonesia. Sistem belajar dituntut untuk menerapkan Pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) padahal sarana dan prasarana di satuan pendidikan tidak serta merta memiliki kualitas yang baik. Khususnya di Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai yang termasuk daerah terdepan, terluar, dan tertinggal (3T) yang masih sangat minim akses internet dan perkembangan teknologi yang masih lambat. PJJ di daerah ini merupakan tantangan yang besar dalam penerapannya. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan PJJ di daerah minim akses internet pada masa pandemi ini. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, dan data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PJJ dalam jaringan (daring) yang menjadi alternatif utama yang digunakan di SMA Negeri 1 Siberut Utara adalah Whatsapp.  PJJ menggunakan Whatsapp tidak dapat terlaksana secara baik karena minimnya akses internet dan hampir 50% siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Siberut Utara tidak memiliki gawai (smartphone). Dapat diketahui juga bahwa guru dan siswa tidak senang dengan PJJ saat ini yang diakibatkan pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

The Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) is a new thing in the world of education in Indonesia. With this ANBK, many responses emerged from the teachers and education staff, parents/guardians, school committees, the community, and students. To respond to this response and provide an explanation about ANBK, the school at SMPN 2 Siberut Utara held a meeting to hold a socialization about ANBK. The method of implementing the ANBK socialization is the lecture and question and answer method. This socialization activity aims to provide knowledge to the participants of the socialization regarding the description of ANBK, management of ANBK implementation, and technical implementation of ANBK. The implementation of ANBK socialization was able to provide understanding to participants regarding ANBK. ANBK socialization is very useful for socialization participants in preparing for the implementation of ANBK in the future.

Abstract

This research used a qualitative descriptive approach which aimed to identify the efforts made to solve learning loss in students during the Covid-19 pandemic in remote areas, Junior high school SMP Negeri 2 Siberut Utara and Senior high school SMA Negeri 1 Siberut Utara. Learning loss is a condition where students lose their knowledge, skills, and abilities in the learning process. Data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation. In this case, the researcher saw directly and studied the problems found in the field. The results showed that there were three efforts made to prevent or reduce learning loss conditions for students in remote areas, namely: (1) Efforts through the implementation of online learning using WA groups (WAG), (2) Efforts through the implementation of offline learning by doing home visit, and (3) Efforts through the implementation of offline learning by setting a certain schedule in schools.
