Abstract

AbstrakThis study was aimed to know the effectiveness of feedback method using leaflet to remediate students’ mistakes in solving solid pressure in SMPN 23 Pontianak. This study was a quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The sample of this study consisted of 28 students of class VIII B as experiment class 1 and 30 students of class VIII E as experiment class 2. Tools of data collection were essay test amount to five questions that has been validating (level of validation 3.5 in moderate category) and test reliabilities (level of reliabilities 0.489 in moderate category). This study showed that the percentage of students’ mistakes of experiment class 1 was 52.8% and experiment class 2 was 52.9%. The lowering of students’ mistakes happened to 12.5% and 15.3%. Based on the result of U-Mann Whitney with 5% significant equal obtained -Zhitung< -Ztabel, that was 0.05 < 1.96 so Ho accepted. The result showed that there was no different of the number of students’ mistakes between the class that remediated by feedback method using leaflet and without leaflet. It was hoped that this research can be a reference to the educators in doing remediation.Keywords: Feedback Method, Students’ Mistakes, Leaflet, Solid Pressure

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini mendiskripsikan tentang Penerapan metode inkuiri dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 02 Sungai Duri. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk Penelitian Tindakan  Kelas. subjek penelitian ini  adalah guru sebagai peneliti dan 21 siswa kelas IV. Berdasarkan analisis data kemampuan guru menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran siklus I rata- rata   3.01   menjadi   rata-rata   3.36   pada   siklus   II.   Kemampuan   guru melaksanakan pembelajaran Siklus I rata-rata 2.58 menjadi rata-rata 3.02 pada siklus II. Hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I rata-rata 45.71 dengan persentase ketuntasan 42.85%, meningkat menjadi rata-rata 66.66 dengan persentase  ketuntasan  80.95 %  pada  siklus  II.  Berdasarkan  pembahasan tersebut diambil kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran melalui metode inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 02 Sungai Duri.   Kata kunci : Hasil Belajar, IPA, Metode Inkuiri   Abstract: This study describes the purpose of the Application of the method of inquiry in improving learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students of SDN 02 Sungai Duri. The method used is descriptive method with the form of classroom action research. The research subjects were teachers as researchers and 21 students of class IV. Based on the data analysis capabilities of teachers prepare lesson planning cycle I mean 3:01 to an average of 3:36 in the second cycle. The ability of teachers to implement learning cycle I mean 2:58 to an average of 3:02 in the second cycle. Student learning outcomes of the first cycle an average of 45.71 with the percentage of completeness 42.85%, increasing to an average of 66.66 with 80.95% the percentage of completeness in the second cycle. Based on these discussions be concluded that learning through inquiry method can improve learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students of SDN 02 Sungai Duri.   Keywords: Results Learning, Natural Sciences, Methods of Inquiry     Â
