Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian konsumsi ubi jalar terhadapkadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil trimester III di wilayah puskesmas Genuk. Penelitian inidilakukan di Puskesmas Genuk, Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experiment ataueksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil TM III di Puskesmas Genuk, KotaSemarang dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwakonsumsi ubi jalar berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil ditunjukkandengan p value 0,000. Dari hasil penelitian diharapkan bidan dapat meningkatkan pelayanankesehatan khususnya untuk mengatasi anemia pada ibu hamil dengan cara memberikanpendidikan kesehatan tentang manfaat ubi jalar sebagai salah satu alternatif bahan makanan yangdapat meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin ibu dan mencegah anemia. Bidan juga dapatmenganjurkan ibu hamil selain mengkonsumsi tablet Fe juga dapat mengkonsumsi sumbermakanan lain yang mengandung zat besi salah satunya dengan mengkonsumsi ubi jalar.
