<![CDATA[This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effect of cooperative learning model of TSTS type towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. The design of this research was the posttest only control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 25 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into nine classes. The samples of this research were students of VIIIH and VIIII class which were taken by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical conceptual understanding. The conclusion of this research was the cooperative learning model of TSTS type affect the student’s mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 25 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi dalam sembilan kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIH dan VIIII yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes pemahaman konsep matematis.
