Abstract

AbstractThis paper discusses the relation between the messages of the prophet with other literature in the bible. The messages from prophets, such as Jeremiah, Isiah related, to special parts in torah namely Covenant, exodus. Another parts is related to wisdom and Apocaliptic. Abstract

Abstract[Title: Understanding Jeremiah’s Prophecy and His Book] Jeremiah is a prophet in the Old Testament, whose book is thick with a maximum biography. To understand the message of the prophet of Jeremiah, the readers must recognize two important things. First, the prophet Jeremiah himself, and the second,the book of Jeremiah. On one hand, there are frictions between Old Testament scholars about the historicity of Jeremiah's own figure. Is the figure of Jeremiah real or not real? On the other hand, there are many problems regarding the book of Jeremiah, related to the author of the book of Jeremiah. Who was the author of this book?Was it Jeremiah himself, or his secretary Barukh,orsomeone else, or later editors?Other problems related to the text about large differences in Jeremiah's text in the Hebrew and Greek versions of the Bible are very striking. In this study the author intends to provide an alternative solution to the complexity of Jeremiah's figure and his book.Keywords: Prophet Jeremiah, Book of Jeremiah

Abstract

AbstrackThis paper discusses the link between the preaching of the prophet Jeremiah with other parts of the Old Testament, whether it is related to the Torah, the Prophets (Neviim), and the Writings (Khetuvim). The author's assumption is that the preaching of the prophet Jeremiah is inseparable from other parts of the OT. There are passages in Jeremiah that are influenced by the ideas of the earlier OT books, and vice versa Jeremiah also influences the thoughts of the OT books afterwards. In research on this topic, the author uses themethod of library research.Keywords: The message of Jeremiah; Torah; Prophets; Writings.

Abstract

The high divorce rate in Indonesia, including among Christian families, has in recent years been a struggle together. Divorce itself is the mouth of a variety of pressures faced by Christian families that are not properly resolved. Not a few Christian families have a vulnerable resilience due to their inability to manage conflicts that occur. On the other hand, the Church must recognize that it has an ethical and theological responsibility to maintain the resilience of the family members of its congregation. However, the fact is that most churches do not have a programmed mission to nurture husband and wife members of their congregations in order to maintain family resilience. In fact, many churches do not have documented teaching material for cultivating Christian families. This article is a summary of development research that seeks to create a design for Christian husband and wife formation materials that can later be used by church leaders for the survival of the family of church members. The research method used is Research and Development (R D), which is used to produce certain products, and test their effectiveness. In this research, the design of Christian husband and wife guidance materials for the family resilience of church members is produced.AbstrakTingginya angka perceraian di Indonesia, tidak terkecuali di kalangan keluarga Kristen, dalam beberapa tahun terakhir telah menjadi pergumulan bersama. Perceraian sendiri merupakan muara dari beragam tekanan yang dihadapi oleh keluarga Kristen yang tidak terselesaikan dengan baik. Tidak sedikit keluarga Kristen yang memiliki ketahanan yang rentan akibat ketidakmampuan dalam mengelola konflik yang terjadi. Di lain pihak, Gereja harus menyadari bahwa ia memiliki tanggung jawab etis dan teologis untuk menjaga ketahanan keluarga anggota jemaatnya. Tetapi faktanya sebagian besar gereja tidak memiliki misi yang terprogram untuk membina suami-istri warga jemaatnya demi menjaga ketahanan keluarga. Bahkan banyak gereja tidak memiliki bahan pengajaran yang terdokumentasi untuk membina keluarga Kristen. Artikel ini merupakan rangkuman dari penelitian pengembangan yang berupaya menciptakan suatu desain bahan pembinaan suami-istri Kristen yang nantinya dapat dipakai oleh pimpinan-pimpinan gereja untuk ketahanan keluarga warga gereja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R D), yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu, dan menguji keefektifanya. Pada penelitian ini dihasilkan desain bahan pembinaan suami-istri Kristen untuk ketahanan keluarga warga gereja.

Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian: melakukan aksi pastoral mengatasi kerusakan ekologi yakni kerusakan tanah humus dan pencemaran air di desa Jumateguh.jenis penelitian kualitatif pengumpulan data melalui FGD. Data penelitian dari pemerintah desa dan praktisi pertania masyarakat Jumateguh. Peneliti menyimpulkan masyarakat menyadari kerusakan ekologi. Tetapi tidak mempunyai kepedulian melakukan aksi/tindakan mengatasi kerusakan-kerusakan yang terjadi. penulis memberikan edukasi ekoteologi berfungsi menyadarkan masyarakat kita manusia sebagai perpanjangan tangan Tuhan untuk memelihara dan melestarikan alam ciptaan. Jika sudah merusak, maka harus memperbaiki. Penulis dan anggota FGD juga melakukan beberapa aksi mengatasi kerusakan, yaitu melakukan praktik pembuatan eco-enzyme dan pestisida nabati yang berguna pertumbuhan tanaman, dan penulis membersihkan saluran air dari sampah pastik. Mengatasi kerusakan ekologi yang telah terjadi, masyarakat perlu kesadaran tindakan mereka merusak fungsi tanah humus dan mencemari air. Pemerintah desa sebaiknya berperan langsung mengatasi kerusakan tanah humus dan pencemaran air berbagai macam tindakan. Dan penelitian selanjutnya dapat melakukan aksi pastoral yang lain demi keberhasilan penelitian.Kata kunci: Kerusakan ekologi dan Aksi pastoral  Abstract:The purpose of the research: to carry out pastoral action to overcome ecological damage, namely the damage to humus soil and water pollution in the village of Fridayeguh. This type of qualitative research is collecting data through FGD. Research data from the village government and agricultural practitioners of the Fridayeguh community. The researcher concludes that the community is aware of the ecological damage. But do not have the concern to take action / action to overcome the damage that occurs. The author provides ecotheological education that functions to make our society aware of humans as an extension of God's hand to maintain and preserve the created nature. If it is damaged, then it must be repaired. The author and FGD members also took several actions to overcome the damage, namely the practice of making eco-enzymes and plant-based pesticides that are useful for plant growth, and the authors cleaned waterways from plastic waste. To overcome the ecological damage that has occurred, the community needs to be aware of their actions in destroying the function of topsoil and polluting water. The village government should play a direct role in overcoming the damage to topsoil and water pollution in various ways. And further research can carry out other pastoral actions for the success of the research.Keywords: Ecological damage and Pastoral Action

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the concept of justice according to Amos's perspective and how to identify concrete methods of its implementation for the church today. This research uses Thematic Method with literature study, to analyze relevant texts from the Book of Amos in the Bible. The analysis focused on identifying central themes related to justice from Amos' perspective. In addition, the research also incorporates relevant theological and social literature to understand the context of the implementation of the principles of justice of Amos in the modern church. The results revealed that Amos emphasized the importance of social justice, rejection of economic injustice, and an active role in combating oppression in society. Implementation of these principles in today's church involves a variety of actions, including proactive social service, advocacy for structural change, and education of church members on issues of justice

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan sebuah kajian teologis reflektif terhadap perkembangan gereja dari kelompok Pentakostal-Karismatik di wilayah Tarutung, Tapanuli Utara. Perkembangan kelompok ini termasuk yang paling dinamis di antara kelompok Kristen lainnya, sehingga memunculkan respons yang kompleks. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk menganalisis misi gereja dalam kelompok Pentakostal-Karismatik yang berkelindan dengan pertumbuhan gereja. Degnan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif melalui data-data kualitatif berbasis pustaka dari berbagai referensi digital, diperoleh hasil bahwa misi kelompok Pentakostal-Karismatik mempengaruhi pertumbuhan gereja sehingga mengakibatkan perkembangannya yang signifikan.
