Abstract

This research aimed about front office employee’s motivation at Resty Menara HotelPekanbaru. This research aims to: (1) to knows about front office employee’s motivation atResty Menara Hotel Pekanbaru. (2) To know the multi ways to increase front officeemployee’s motivation at Resty Menara Hotel Pekanbaru.The sample used in this research was 8 people. This research using descriptivemethods to examine the issues presented in this research.The results of this research indicate that based on the research results obtained on themotivation of the front office employee at Resty Menara Hotel pekanbaru could be quitegood. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the overall total score of hygiene factor andmotivator factor, which is 191 points.Keyword: Motivation, employee, hygiene factor, motivator factor.

Abstract

This research purposed to get know how culture festival perahu baganduang can improve tourist arrivals and how role the progress to tourism in lubuk jambi regency kuantan singingi. This research use metode descriptive qualitative to examine the issues raised. The source in this research is community leaders, stakeholders competent, Department of Culture, Tourism, regency Kuantan Singingi, and the executive committee culture festival perahu baganduang and tourist at festival perahu baganduang. While data collection techniques in this research use method observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research results has done, tourist culture perahu baganduang in area lubuk jambi still more not by the outside people, only area regency kuantan singingi has know festival perahu baganduang because resource, accessibility, facilities and infrastructure has a unique not managed maximal. Because development costs Insufficient which led to a promotion to be limited.Keywords: tourist attraction, culture festival, perahu baganduan

Abstract

The research purposed to get know how mahot role as a tour guide on elephant conservation center in minas siak riau be serving tourist or visitor ones visiting every day.This research used qualitative descriptive method to analyze the problems. The sample in this research are 12 samples by using purposive sampling and accidental sampling. And then the technique to collected data in this research are using observation, interview, and documentation.Based on the research, mahot role as a tour guide already happened in three stages, they are knowledge , skills, and attitude in guiding and service tourist, each has applied however still need clarify the status of elephant conservation center became a tourist destination nature based so mahot gets licence a tuor guide.Key words : Role Mahot, Tour Guide, Elephant Conservation Center Minas

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to identified and analyzed of linen management process used in housekeeping department at The Premiere Hotel Pekanbaru.This research used theory of Usin S Artyasa (2006 : 114) to explanation about steps in management of room linen, the good management is done by : control and supervision, stock, improvement, control of linen, and standard washing.The method of this research is using kualitatif analysis method. Analysis in the research based in literature, observation, and direct interview with informan who consider able to provide informationrelation to problem examined.Room occupancy is at its highest level is the result of management were able to sufficient needs of operational of housekeeping department.Keywords : linen management

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the implementationof Samosir tourism promotion conducted by department of tourism, arts andculture Samosir regency in increasing the number of tourists, obstaclesencountered and traveler feedback on the implementation of the promotionhas been done.This research uses theory of Yoeti (1996) to explanation on theimplementation of Samosir tourism promotion conducted by department oftourism, arts and culture regency Samosir using promotional mix aregrouped on the advertising, sales support and public relations.The method of this research is using qualitative descriptive analysismethod. Analysis on this research based on literature, observation anddirect interview with informan who consider able to provide informationrelating to problem examined.The number of tourist visits to Samosir increasing every year.
