Abstract

This research is motivated by problems related to moral degradation that still often occurs everywhere. Various efforts from the government have been made to address this problem, one of them is by promoting character education. Many programs that have been launched by the government related to the improvement of the character of this nation, one of them through the mandatory extracurricular scout program in schools. Not only must that, learning in schools also contain character education. Mainly Islamic Religious Education as its goal is to form human beings. For this reason, the inclusion of Islamic Religious Education values in scouting activities is expected to produce quality characters, both in the mind, physical and spiritual aspects. The data of this study were compiled from residents of Public Middle School 2 Peunaron, East Aceh, who could provid Existing problems were answered through qualitative research with data collection methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively by the Miles & Huberman interactive analysis model with data collection schemes, data reduction, data display and conclusions.e data related to the internalization of Islamic Education values as research objects. Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) Teacher Discipline at MTs Manunggal Bandar Khalipah, (2) Student Learning Interest in SKI Learning at MTs Manunggal Bandar Khalipah, (3) Relationship between Teacher Discipline and Student Learning Interest in SKI Learning at MTs Manunggal Bandar Khalipah. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The data collection technique in this study was using a questionnaire. Data were obtained through valid and reliable instruments. The results of the analysis show that teacher discipline is in the good category, with a reliability value of 0.834. Student learning interest is also in the high enough category, with a reliability value of 0.847. The linearity test showed a linear relationship between teacher discipline and student learning interest with a significance value of 0.179 (> 0.05). However, the correlation test showed a positive but not statistically significant relationship with a Pearson Correlation value of 0.206 and p = 0.275 (> 0.05). The normality test showed that the data approached normal distribution based on the Shapiro-Wilk test. This study concludes that teacher discipline has not had a significant effect on student interest in learning, so other factors need to be explored further to increase student interest in learning.

Abstract

                Communication technology has become an integral part of education, especially as a learning media that supports the effective and efficient delivery of materials. This study aims to identify and analyze various types of communication technology used as learning media in formal educational settings. The research method employed is a literature review with a descriptive approach, examining reliable sources related to the development of communication technology and its application in learning. The results indicate that commonly used communication technologies as learning media include video conferencing software (such as Zoom and Google Meet), online learning platforms (such as Moodle and Edmodo), social media (such as WhatsApp and Telegram), and interactive multimedia technology. Each type of technology has its own advantages and disadvantages in supporting the learning process, depending on the context and needs of students and teachers. In conclusion, selecting appropriate communication technology can enhance learning effectiveness and facilitate interaction between teachers and students, making the learning process more engaging and meaningful.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the role of teachers in educating students' independent learning at Muhammadiyah Lubuk Pakam Middle School. The research method used is a qualitative research method with descriptive methods. This descriptive method allows researchers to describe in detail the role of teachers in educating students' independent learning through narrative data collection. The research results show that teachers at this school apply various strategies to encourage student learning independence. The main strategies implemented include careful learning planning, the use of learning methods that encourage interaction and problem solving, and the use of technology and innovative learning tools. Teachers also act as role models who demonstrate responsibility, independence, authority and discipline. To overcome barriers to learning, teachers create an interesting and relevant atmosphere, and provide support and guidance that suits each student's unique potential. It is hoped that parents will also play an active role in supporting their children's learning process at home. In conclusion, the role of teachers at Muhammadiyah Lubuk Pakam Middle School is very important in forming students' learning independence, helping them become independent, creative and critical thinking individuals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi media pembelajaran Kartu DOWID (Domino Tajwid) dalam kegiatan tahsin Al-Qur’an pada santri di pondok pesantren modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai penerapan media pembelajaran dalam konteks kelas. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Kartu DOWID dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui tiga tahap utama, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap perencanaan, guru merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran yang spesifik terkait kompetensi tajwid serta menyesuaikan materi kartu dengan kebutuhan santri. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, media diterapkan melalui permainan edukatif berbasis kelompok yang mendorong partisipasi aktif, pembelajaran kolaboratif, serta praktik langsung dalam membaca Al-Qur’an. Pada tahap evaluasi, dilakukan penilaian formatif dan sumatif untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan santri dalam mengenali hukum tajwid, melafalkan makhraj huruf dengan benar, serta menerapkan panjang pendek bacaan (mad). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Kartu DOWID efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman kognitif, keterampilan psikomotorik dalam ketepatan membaca, serta aspek afektif seperti motivasi dan keterlibatan santri. Oleh karena itu, media Kartu DOWID dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif dalam mendukung pembelajaran tahsin yang berpusat pada peserta didik di lembaga pendidikan Islam.
