Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran (reasoning skill) siswa pada konsep usaha dan energi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 58 siswa kelas X MIA MA Mu’allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik tes dan non tes. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar soal tes diagnostik two tier dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kemampuan penalaran (reasoning skill) siswa berada pada kategori rendah. Pada pola penalaran untuk kategori formal didapatkan hasil persentase sebesar 0,00%; transisi sebesar 34,48%; dan konkret sebesar 65,52%. Kemampuan penalaran (reasoning skill) siswa berdasarkan indikator didapatkan hasil proportional reasoning (PPR) sebesar 17,24%; control of variable (CV) sebesar 5,17%; probabilistic reasoning (PBR) sebesar 0,00%; correlational reasoning (CR) sebesar 18,96%; dan hypothetical deductive reasoning (HDR) sebesar 15,52%. Berdasarkan persentase tersebut didapatkan pola penalaran yang paling tinggi dimiliki siswa adalah correlational reasoning (CR) sebesar 18,96% dan terendah adalah  probabilistic reasoning (PBR) sebesar 0,00%.

Abstract

Every child has the right to get the best care and education in every phase of his age. But in reality, not all parents understand how to properly care for their children. The purpose of this study was to find out how to care for early childhood in farming families in Karumbu Village, Langgudu District, Bima Regency. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, by making four farming families as research subjects. The method of collecting data is through observation and in-depth interviews. The results showed that, family 1 used an authoritarian and permissive form of parenting for their 5-year-old child, while for their 2-year-old child she used democratic parenting. then Families 2, 3, and 4 use the same form of parenting, namely democratic. The findings in this study are the application of parenting provided by parents depending on the age of the child.

Abstract

Education is important in every element of human life, parenting style is a series of actions taken by parents, in fact in Indonesia most of them still refer to the education level of parents and some refer to previous parenting patterns. The place of this research is located at the RA ROFROF school, Kec. Kelapa Dua, the location was chosen as the research location because this school has been a place for researchers to teach since 2019. The research method used in this case is a qualitative method, in this study the data obtained include words or stories directly from research informants. The results of the interview research conducted at the RA ARROFROF school indicate that there are several factors that can influence parenting patterns for children, including: 1) Economic factors, 2) Education factors and 3) Age factors. The conclusions of this study show the results: 1) The understanding possessed by parents at the ARROFROF school about the importance of early childhood education is in the fairly good category
