Abstract

Hypertension, tuberculosis (TB), and diabetes mellitus (DM) remain prevalent health problems in the community, primarily due to limited knowledge regarding risk factors, symptoms, as well as prevention and control measures. This community service activity aimed to improve public knowledge through integrated health education. The methods included interactive lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, with evaluation conducted using pretest and posttest among 85 participants in Lembor Village. The results showed an increase in community knowledge from 73.36% before the intervention to 93.54% after the intervention. This finding indicates that integrated health education is effective in enhancing public understanding of these diseases. Therefore, continuous health education is essential as a promotive and preventive effort to improve community health status.
