Abstract

ABSTRAK Badan Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) mengkompilasi masalah kesehatan reproduksi remaja yang terjadi di seluruh dunia. Sekitar 50 juta orang (20%) populasi Indonesia adalah remaja (usia 10-19 tahun). Berdasarkan data PKBI tahun 2005, sebanyak (33,79%) remaja siap untuk melakukan aborsi. Pada penelitian lain didapatkan, dari 2,4 juta kasus aborsi atau 21% (700-800 ribu) dilakukan oleh remaja (BBKBN-LDFEUI, 2000). Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja mengenai kekerasan seksual dan kesehatan reproduksi sehingga menekan terjadinya pergaulan bebas di kalangan remaja. Kegiatan PKM dilakukan dengan pemberian Komunikasi, Informasi dan Edukasi (KIE) serta Konseling tentang : 1)Kekerasan Seksual pada Anak, 2)Kesehatan Reproduksi, 3)Kondisi Psikologis terhadap Kekerasan Seksual pada Anak, dan, 4)Dampak Pergaulan Bebas dan Pernikahan Dini pada Remaja. Kegiatan pemberikan pendidikan kesehatan dan konseling kekerasan seksual dan kesehatan reproduksi pada remaja di SMP 01 Desa Sioban dan Asrama Putri Desa Sioban Kecamatan Sipora Selatan Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai terlaksana dengan baik dengan dukungan yang diberikan oleh berbagai pihak baik dari perangkat Desa, Kepala Sekolah dan Majelis Guru, serta warga sekitar. Maraknya pergaulan bebas yang terjadi di kalangan remaja di Desa Sioban memberikan kesan yang negatif terhadap remaja karena penyimpangan perilaku yang dilakukan serta kurangnya pengawasan dari masyarakat.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of the lack of women's representation, the challenge of affirmation of 30 percent, the urgency of female legislators, framing the actual context and discourse on strengthening gender-sensitive female legislators. Through a qualitative approach, a number of phenomena were explored in descriptive analytical manner. The findings of the study explain the lack of representation because patriarchal culture still shackles internal political parties. Women are only used as a complement to the requirements to participate in elections. Weak access and freedom during the campaign season as well as the flexibility of the voter network are among the factors that make it difficult to fulfill the representation of women legislators. As for their choice, they are fully supported by social networks, kinship relations and family solidity. The role of legislators is limited to carrying out formal and responsive obligations according to constituent requests or needs. The articulation that is highlighted is a variety of religious social actions. The conclusion of this study confirms that female legislators have not substantively influenced gender-based policies. The commitment of political parties to fulfill women's representation by carrying out potential candidates elected based on a social network and family kinship approach deserves further investigation. This strategy is not impossible for the representation of 30 percent of women legislators to be fulfilled in the future.

Abstract

Honey is a naturally sweet substance produced by honeybees from the nectar of flowers. The composition of honey is so complex that the benefits of honey in the pharmaceutical, food, beverage and aesthetic industries are enormous. One of the quality parameters of honey is the level of moisture and acidity. This research aims to analyse the quality of honey based on moisture content and acidity. To test this, a tool is needed that can detect moisture content and acidity in honey. The design of a tool to measure moisture content and acidity to determine the quality of honey using capacitive soil moisture sensor and pH sensor has been made. The testing of the tool is done with 3 variations of honey samples available in the market. The test results of 3 honey samples with the designed tool were compared with the pH meter and Brix refractometer. The percentage error obtained in testing the designed tool is 12.5% for moisture content and 3.89% for acidity. Based on the research results, it is found that the designed tool can read the value of water content and acidity in each honey sample.
