Abstract

AbstractThe growth of plants requires watering the plants so monitoring is necessary. Monitoring is carried out for the process of watering plants running optimally according to plant needs based on soil moisture and room temperature. Soil moisture explains that it settles between the soil pores, this is also due to evaporation of the soil surface, transpiration and infiltration. The purpose of this research is to do watering using a jet irrigation system so that it is done automatically in watering the soil according to the humidity and temperature required for the plants. The important factor of soil moisture is influenced by factors including the quality of the soil used as agricultural land, namely the life of the biological elements contained in the soil including hosts, pathogens, and also various other microorganisms, greatly affecting soil moisture. Determine the amount of water flow that flows from the water source to the soil element in order to get the appropriate level of humidity. In this study, the authors used cayenne pepper and red chili as the object of research, where these plants can grow at an optimal temperature of 24˚C – 28˚C, so it is necessary to monitor temperature and soil humidity using Arduino sensors to create a jet irrigation system. Keywords : Monitoring; Arduino Sensors; Water discharge; Radiant irrigation system

Abstract

Scheduling is a process of compiling and making teaching and learning schedules which are carried out repeatedly every one semester. The goal to be achieved in this research activity is to obtain various materials needed for making subject scheduling applications, including being able to design a subject scheduling system that can meet the learning needs of schools and can find out the benefits of implementing the scheduling information system for SMK XY. In this study, an information system for scheduling subjects was made that would help SMK XY in managing the schedule of subjects more effectively and efficiently. The method used in this study uses the Genetic Algorithm method. Genetic Algorithm that runs by utilizing a scientific selection process known as the evaluation process, so that it can be used to generate scheduling according to existing data. The final result of the subject scheduling information system using genetic algorithms, namely the schedule of subjects at SMK XY can be obtained faster because there is already a genetic algorithm calculation in the scheduling system, so that it can be optimal in scheduling subjects at SMK XY. Keywords : Scheduling; Genetic Algorithm;

Abstract

CV. BJS is a company engaged in the rental of work tools, especially heavy equipment, and serves in the areas of Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Bali. The Work Tools will be sent using company vehicles. The problem that arises from the delivery process is the unknown presence of delivery vehicles from both the company and the customer side, so customers often complain because there is no certainty about the arrival of the heavy equipment being rented. In this study, 2 applications have been made that can answer company problems. The first application, also known as administrative application, is made for administrative processes that are web-based and will be accessed by internal companies and customers. The second application, an Android-based application used by heavy equipment deliverers, will inform the whereabouts of the vehicle through CouchDB technology which is also used to provide real-time tracking and monitoring of the system.

Abstract

Kompetensi dibidang Jaringan komputer menjadi tren saat ini karena dibutuhkan hampir di segala bidang, sehingga menguasai jaringan komputer menjadi nilai tambah serta daya saing dalam dunia kerja. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membekali remaja karang taruna Bekasi tentang kompetensi jaringan komputer guna mempersiapkan diri dalam menghadapi persaingan didunia kerja., kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di wilayah Chandra Baru selama tiga hari dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak dua puluh orang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu penyampaian paparan materi tentang konsep jaringan komputer, dan praktek. Sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan dilaksanakan tes dengan mengerjakan beberapa soal dan tes latihan guna mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan pemahaman peserta latihan . Hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah adanya peningkatan kemampuan peserta sebesar 76,% baik secara teori dan praktek. Dengan adaanya pelatihan ini diharapkan peserta pelatihan mendapatkan skill keahlian yang nantinya akan bisa digunakan untuk memberikan bekal untuk mencari pekerjaan maupun memperoleh peluang bisnis serta membuka lapangan kerja, sehingga dapat meningkatkan taraf hidup. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Jaringan Komputer, Karang Taruna
