Abstract

The development of manufacturing and service industries is increasing rapidly from time to time so that every industry player must be ready to compete with his competitors. Therefore the problems and factors associated with increasing productivity are increasingly prominent and need to be examined. This research was conducted in Tamiya auto assembly industry.In this study investigated the work method and operator work layout, then performed the proposed improvement by applying the 5S method on the work environment. After data processing and discussion of assembly time measurement data, 5S method analysis on layout both before and after the proposed improvement and the number of production results of each work layout was the amount of production in the layout after the proposed improvements made increased compared to the layout before the proposed improvementdo.This is evidenced by the increased productivity index from before the proposed improvement done where the productivity index before the proposed improvement is 97.5%, while the productivity index on the work layout after the proposed improvement 115%. Therefore, it can be said that the micromotion study and the 5S method has brought a good effect for the improvement of working methods by eliminating the ineffective movement and arranging the work environment to be cleaner and tidier thus increasing the productivity of the operator's work.

Abstract

Manual Material Handling (MMH) is expressed as an art and science that includes handling, transfer, packing, storage and monitoring. In this study, the problems faced by the book lift operator are less attention to the risk of spinal cord injury, the operator should pay attention to the safety and health level, to know the biomechanical hazard factors, as well as the MMH activity that endanger or cause pain in the operator. The observations focused on one binder carrier operator at the APK Laboratory, which is the part that moves the book directly from the floor to the point of stomach inclination or the designated destination location with a book weight of 8 kg. The identification of this case study uses a biomechanical approach to find out the compressive forces at an inclination angle. The yield of compressive force of the inclination angle is -22572.3 N and -29972,9 N against the L5 / S1 compression reference standard, the comparative value must be below 3400 N, in order to obtain safe operator category. So the results of these comparisons have a relation or synopsis of posture and body movements of operators belonging to the category safe or not occur Risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders.

Abstract

The linear regression analysis model of traffic accidents obtained, showing the results close to the number of accident data that occurred in the period of 3 years (2017-2019). The difference between traffic accidents and traffic accident estimates for 3 years. Observations were also observed on the national level of Indonesia. Based on the influence factors, the traffic accident rate can be estimated with linear regression analysis, based on the model made, so that traffic accidents data can be controlled, in order to know the traffic accident level, so it can be calibrated based on the traffic accident data obtained from the data PT Jasa Raharja. After the test, the influence and the difference that affect the traffic accident rate that the death rate due to traffic accident is not influenced by the factor due to drunk that is equal to 6%. Rather, the most dominant factors such as less traffic order by 20%, factors due to drowsiness by 17%, factors due to fatigue of 14%, and factors due to speeding by 11%.

Abstract

Incorrect work posture is often caused by stations and work facilities that are not suitable for workers, this period is an important factor for companies that do not pay attention to the needs and interests of workers. There are still many companies whose work processes are not supported by standard methods and ergonomic work facilities so that workers often complain about their body parts. Complaints that arise due to the absence of ergonomic work facilities that are in accordance with the worker's body posture, causing workers to feel uncomfortable. The working posture that needs to be evaluated using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method is bending and squatting because it provides the highest value. The value of work posture presented in the RULA method obtained from the operator's lift book is a grand score of 6. The immediate position of the body is to add work facilities in the form of table scissors so that there is no potential for injury when lifting and carrying books.

Abstract

PT Pertani (Persero) UPB Sleman is a company engaged in the processing of seeds, especially seeds of rice plants. In this factory, seeds are divided into KS (Dry Rice Field), KK (Dry Dry) and KB (Dry Clean). The seeds are stored in a warehouse with a warehouse with size 30 meters X 18 meters and a capacity of 200 tons. And the distance of KK to production room is 15-20 meter, the distance of KS to production room is 4 meter, The arrangement of KB 2-2,5 meter with condition of layout less well arranged that it became obstacles for workers on path to production room. The method of research used Gravity Location Model (GLM). It is a branch of Supply Chain Management for facility location. This research aims to analyze the layout from each sector in PT Pertani (Persero) warehouse. The conclusion of this research is using the method with size and capacity to measure the farthest and the nearest used as consideration to design layout in the warehouse.

Abstract

The study was conducted because of many concerning event happened in purpose of losing weight in improper methods. By the flow of time with technologies developed in this century, Smartphone became one of necessity because of the feature by many applications which helps a lot in our everyday life of humanity. The Researcher conducted this research of mobile-based application expert system which helps people properly losing their weight, this expert system is a supporting utility for taking care of dietary habit based on the amount of calorie limit calculated by this system, and recommends suitable and healthy food for users. This system is built with React Native framework. The calculation in this system is based on information of weight, height, and age provided by users, and all prediction will not be done without the provided information and every calculation is handled by web-based server-side processing which is developed using Laravel Framework. Inference method used by the researcher is Forward Chaining. This expert system will validate user's requirement to start working on losing weight by using Forward Chaining Inference method. Every successfully registered user will be able to view their calculated information by this system which is maximum calorie value, and list of healthy and recommended foods information provided by the expert herself. From the test results, the Expert System can solve the problem of giving a way to run a proper diet program by adjusting the diet with the calories needed.
