Abstract

AbstractState University of Padang (UNP) is one of the country's leading higher education institutions in West Sumatera. In a government and private institutions, the use of means of transportation very important role to support the smooth running of activities undertaken. Currently, a widely used means of transportation at the State University of Padang is the kind of motor vehicles and motor cars. Phenomena occurring at the State University of Padang on the motor vehicle is, the onset of discomfort on the move. These include discomfort, noise pollution, air pollution, public order disturbances caused by motor vehicles. The design of this poster campaign through the media aims to make comfortable and orderly atmosphere in the campus environment, and make Padang State University academic community more healthy without air pollution. The method used in this campaign using the two methods. The first method of data collection and data analysis methods. Data collection methods, the authors do by way of interviews, observation, and documentation. Second, the method of data analysis using SWOT analysis. From the SWOT analysis will be obtained Strength, Weakness, Oppurtunity, and the Threat of this campaign. The results of the analysis of the campaign to popularize the use of bicycles to the students of UNP media is the creation of a poster design and its supporters are referring to the principles and rules of design in general.Kata Kunci: Kampanye, Sepeda, Mahasiswa, Poster

Abstract

ABSTRACT Mentawai Islands consists of the island of Siberut, Sipora, North Pagai and South Pagai. Many people do not know where the Mentawai Islands. Many of the beauty that can be viewed as exploring unique places. Mentawai Islands, there are several tourist sites such as the Siberut National Park, Dance Sikerei, Turuk Laggai, Tattoos and surfing, is a culture that rarely encountered in other areas, so many tourists who want to see first hand the beauty of Mentawai. Some attractions there are to be promoted and some have not. The authors take an object tattoos that existing media ie local radio advertising, internet, and photos, while I focus on introducing the tattoo through the media poster. Designing a poster aims to show clearly Mentawai tattoo, and can be recognized by the community and beyond. Promotion poster is supported by the media clothes, watches, pins, key chains, x-banner, hats, stickers, calendars and catalogs. Based on the design of the design media campaigns using posters, can be the means / media that is able to seize the attention of the outside community. Kata Kunci: Merancang, Media, Teori SWOT

Abstract

Absract   The purpose of this research is to design the web promotion  media for Damar Shaker Cafe. It is designed to built up to growth of this cafe with steak and shake as the main menu. The data is got and analyzed by using SWOT method. This method is aimed to explain the strenght, the weakness, the probability, and treath of web media as a promotion vehicle. The design of this media display the following pages: home, profile, menu, gallery, and contact. This media planning is proposed to promote dammar shaker café widely and to elarge the target audience. In addition this is hoped to guide large number of custumer who do not know yet this café to be familiar with is. As a result, instead of being a place to eat, this café can be a recommedended place to hang out with friends. This can be easily reach by such of this media promotion.
