Abstract

Abstak : Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang implementasi supervisi akademik dalam rangka peningkatan profesionalisme guru masa pandemi Covid 19 di SDN 5 Langkai Kota Palangka Raya. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Pengecekan kredibilitas data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi (sumber dan teknik/metode), member checks, dan kecukupan bahan referensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi supervisi akademik dalam rangka peningkatan profesionalisme guru masa pandemi Covid 19 secara keseluruhan sudah berjalan dengan baik. Program supervisi berfokus pada peningkatan dan pengembangan kemampuan serta keterampilan guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran secara daring. Program supervisi dari kepala sekolah dilakukan secara terjadwal melalui metode observasi kelas dengan memanfaatkan media zoom meeting. Terdapat respon positif dari para guru terhadap program supervisi yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekoalh pada masa pandemi Covid 19 ini. Abstract : In general, this study aims to describe the implementation of academic supervision in order to increase the professionalism of teachers during the Covid 19 pandemic at SDN 5 Langkai Kota Palangka Raya. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study. Data credibility checks are carried out using triangulation techniques (source and technique / method), member checks, and adequacy of reference materials. The results showed that the implementation of academic supervision in order to increase the professionalism of teachers during the Covid 19 pandemic as a whole has gone well. The supervision program focuses on improving and developing the abilities and skills of teachers in the use of technology to support the learning process online. The supervision program from the principal is carried out on a scheduled basis through the classroom observation method by utilizing the zoom meeting media. There was a positive response from teachers to the supervision program carried out by school heads during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

Abstrak: With regard to teacher’s pedagogical competence, teachers are required to be able to plan, implement and evaluate learning according to the ability of students. However, there are still teachers who have not been able to plan to learn so that they often copy-paste; the teacher has not maximally implemented PAIKEM-based learning because it still holds the old paradigm, namely the lecture. As well as the less optimal teacher in assessing learning that only focuses on cognitive aspects. This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results obtained, can be categorized as teacher’s pedagogical competency is good enough, although it still needs guidance to teachers in improving the learning process. Abstrak: Berkenaan dengan kompetensi pedagogik guru, guru dituntut mampu merencanakan, melaksanakan serta mengevaluasi pembelajaran sesuai kemampuan siswa. Namun, masih ada guru yang belum mampu merencanakan pembelajaran sehingga seringkali melakukan copy paste; guru belum maksimal melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis PAIKEM karena masih memegang paragdigma lama, yakni ceramah. Serta kurang optimalnya guru dalam menilai pembelajaran yang hanya berfokus pada segi kognitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, dapat dikategorikan kompetensi pedagogik yang dimiliki guru sudah cukup baik, walaupun masih perlu dilakukan pembinaan kepada guru dalam perbaikan proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the relationship between school principals' managerial skills and principals' leadership with the performance of primary school teachers in the Palangka Raya city. The research method used is a quantitative method with a correlational design. The population includes all primary school teachers in the Palangka Raya city, totaling 2034 people. The research sample was 291 taken using probability random sampling and using the Slovin formula. The data collection technique for school principals' managerial skills was carried out by distributing a questionnaire consisting of 18 questions. The principal's leadership data collection technique was carried out by distributing a questionnaire consisting of 22 questions. Meanwhile, teacher performance data was collected by recording documents and documents of each teacher's performance scores. The data analysis technique used is product moment correlation which consists of: (a) partial (simple) correlation technique and (b) simultaneous (multiple) correlation technique. Research results: (1) the principal's managerial skills have a positive and significant relationship with teacher performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.541; (2) principal leadership has a positive and significant relationship with teacher performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.587; and (3) the principal's managerial skills and the principal's leadership together have a positive and significant relationship with the teacher performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.654.
