Abstract

This research purposed fordiscoverfigure of concrete beam flexure failure. Its concrete beams researched are composed by coarse grain aggregate of gravel and crushed stone. This research was conducted by 10 (ten) concrete cylinders (Ø15 cm x 30 cm) and 5 (five) concrete beams(60 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm). Normal concrete mix design is calculated by SNI 03-2834-2000 method.The result of this research has showed if average compressive strength of crushed stone concrete is 11.511 MPa and 12.449 MPa for gravel stoneconcrete. The average beam bending capacity of crushed stone concrete is 1.002kNm and 1.054 kNm for gravel stone concrete. The crack pattern of all tested beam considered similar. The crack occur was done in the middle of beam, moving by bottom to top which analogous to increasing load to the center of load. The failure of all tested beam are considered as flexure failure.

Abstract

This research objective is investigates health aspect of the building of Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan, FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya according to Indonesian Article of Peraturan Menteri PU No. 29/PRT/M/2006 concerning Principal of the Technical Requirement of Civil Building. This research is arranged by main data which collected from field investigation. The main stages of this research consist of collecting data and processing. Data of physical building complete with facilities condition are compared to health aspect requirement by the required facilities by the Peraturan Menteri PU No. 29/PRT/M/2006. Based on its analysis result, the physical building complete with facilities condition have been not fully complying requirement of Peraturan Menteri PU No. 29/PRT/M/2006. There is 1 of 4 requirements of the health requirement not complying, especially sanitation requirement. It is important to renovate its building condition, especially sanitation installation. And the most important point to be arranged are a regularly maintenance to its building facilities.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the effect of metal fibres (lathe waste) usages and offset technique at three-dimensional portals to the reinforcement wide. The study was conducting by experimental in laboratory. This experiment is arranged by testing of 25 cylindrical concretes (size 15 cm x 30 cm) under mix design method of SNI 03-2834-2000 (The procedure of making a normal concrete mix plan). All concrete cylinders were tested at 28 days of age in order to obtain an actual compressive strength. The ultimate moment capacity of three-dimensional portal is analyzed by STAAD Pro 2004 engineering computer program. The results of test shows that the compressive strength on concrete with 8% steel fibres is increased up to 45.46%. And the reinforcement wide were decresing up to 1.87% (pedestal level 1); 2.95% (pedestal level 2); 2.67% (field level 1) and 3.99% (field level 2). The beams which only using the offset technique will save the use of steel amounted to 17.81% (pedestal level 1); 18.25% (pedestal level 2); 2.38% (field level 1) and 2.80% (field level 2). Beams that used iron fibres and the offset technique will save the use of steel amounted to 18.25% (pedestal level 1); 20.18% (pedestal level 2); 4.92% (field level 1) and 6.55% (field level 2). Its decresing wide was showing on statics analisys and caculation of reforcing steel requirement.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of iron fibers (waste of lathe machine) to the capacity of flexure in normal concrete mix. This research uses test specimen of 15 pieces cylindrical (size 15 cm x 30 cm) and 9 lengths of beam (length x width x height: 60 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm). Concrete mix are designed complying to SNI 03-2834-2000 on Procedures Mix Concrete Manufacturing Plan for Normal. Concrete cylinders were tested at 28 days to get the actual compressive strength. Concrete beams were tested based on ISO 4431:2011 test method for flexural strength of normal concrete by two point loading at 28 days to obtain a flexural strength, fracture patterns that occur. Based on the test results of concrete cylinders, the average value of compressive strength for each variation of the mixture is 14.58 MPa (fiber content 0%); 10.80 MPa (fiber content 8%); 13.60 MPa (the fiber content of 10%). Flexure testing results for each variation of the mixture was 1.87 MPa (fiber content 0%); 1.64 MPa (fiber content 8%); 1.78 MPa (fiber content 10%). The pattern of cracks that occur in all the beams show the same results that the crack caused by the bending effect. Cracks occurred in the middle of the beam span that starts from the bottom side experiencing gravity and move toward the top and finish with the breaking of the beam.

Abstract

This research conducted for discover caused factor of the incorrect invoice of PLN electric power consumption and any effort to minimize its incorrect invoice. The research was conducting at ten (10) random houses in Palangka Raya as its sample. All researched houses had inconvenience experience with PLN invoicing. The PLN clerks were complaining against access to records compsumtion gauge. It problem raised due to PLN terminal was fitting far away from the house bound. Its condition has been quite making bit difficult for PLN clerks to see visually. Its current situation expected to be improved by re-fitting the gauge to lookable, but safe. A full suppots of regular customers also be expected.

Abstract

This research objective is for investigates existing facilities of the River Port of Tourism Purpose, Palangka Raya according to Indonesian Article PP RI No. 61 / 2009 concerning Port. This research is arranged by main data collected from field investigation and secondary data from Dinas Perhubungan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah (Board of Transportation Affair of The Central Kalimantan). The main stages in this research consist of data collecting and processing. Data of existing facilities are compared to required facilities by the PP RI No. 61/2009. Based on analysis result, the existing river port facilities have been not complying yet criteria of PP RI No. 61/2009 concerning Port. There were 14 of 26 requirements of the river port criteria not available or approximately more than 50% criteria uncomplying. It is important to renovate its river port facilities, especially to main facilities which connected to passenger security, safety and convenience. And the most important point to arrange are a regularly maintenance to its facilities.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the statement that based on observation and interview which suspected that there was a problem with student interest in the subject of finishing of building in class Stone and Concrete Construction Techniques, thus adversely affects the learning outcomes of students with an average grade achieved only 55 whereas for minimum completeness criteria set is 70. The low student interest allegedly affected by many factors, some of which the subject matter is deemed less important and less useful and elusive, the attitude and the way teachers teach less gimmicky, less conducive environment or often noisy. This study aimed to determine whether there is a relationship between interest in learning with student learning outcomes in the subject matter of finishing the buildings in class XI Engineering Construction Stone and Concrete SMK 1 Palangka Raya. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of research method of correlation which is a statistical analysis looking for a relationship variables X (interest in learning) and Y (learning outcomes). The sample in this study used a sample of saturated or all members of a population of 26 students. Data collection instruments interest using a questionnaire which refers to the Likert scale and the data collection instruments of learning outcomes using test questions. After the instruments tested and found suitable for use in collecting the data, then the data that has been collected is tested to meet the requirements analysis. Once the data is deemed eligible, the data variables X and Y are analyzed using statistical analysis Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results of the data analysis and the findings showed that students' interest in class XI Stone and Concrete Construction Technique in good condition, it is the most prominent because it is influenced by media using projector. Increased student interest also followed by the high student learning outcomes in building finishing materials, proved more students scored above the minimum completeness criteria. The results of data analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation also showed a correlation or a positive and significant relationship between interest in learning with learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.482 and a correlation coefficient in the table (rtable) is equal to 0.404. Because rxy(0,482) > rtable (0,404), H0 is rejected and Ha accepted(Ha: r#0).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pelaksanaan PLP I di masa pandemi COVID-19 dan hasil yang dicapai berupa pengetahuan akan kultur, manajemen dan dinamika sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluatif menggunakan Model CIPP dengan  pendekatan kuantitatif-asosiatif. Teknik analisa data berupa pengujian instrumen penelitian dan uji hipotesis. Hasil Uji Validitas instrumen menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penelitian valid yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai rhitung > rtabel pada tingkat signifikansi 5%. Koefisien korelasi setiap variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat lebih besar dari 0,599 yang berarti memiliki tingkat hubungan yang kuat. Pada analisis regresi berganda diperoleh semua koefisien regresi bernilai positif yang berarti memiliki kontribusi positif terhadap variabel terikat. Hasil Uji t, yang digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh masing-masing variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikatnya, memberikan hasil bahwa variabel konteks dan proses berpengaruh secara signifikan yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi variabel 0,00 < 0,050 dan nilai thitung > ttabel. Variabel masukan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi variabel 0,252 > 0,050 dan nilai thitung < ttabel . Pada Uji F diperoleh nilai Fhitung lebih besar dari nilai Ftabel (54,913 > 2,72) dan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan antara pelaksanaan PLP 1 di masa pandemi COVID-19 dan hasil yang dicapai.

Abstract

Building Engineering Education Study Program is part of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Palangka Raya University which has facilities and infrastructure to support teaching and learning activities. There are several problems faced by partners, especially clean water installations. The clean water installation consists of a toren (water reservoir) and a pipe network. The water pressure that comes out through the faucet is relatively small. This problem is very important to be resolved because the availability and smooth running of water is an absolute necessity during the COVID-19 pandemic. To prevent and break the chain of the spread of COVID-19, it is necessary to apply health protocols properly, one way is to wash hands frequently, which of course requires the availability of water. The solution offered to overcome this problem is to add an air pipe (ventilation). The addition of an air pipe can increase the flow of water. The increase in water discharge at point 1 is 25.93%, at point 2 is 1.98%.

Abstract

Sungai Kahayan merupakan sumber air baku dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan air bersih di Kota Palangka Raya. Untuk mencapai 80% target nasional akan kebutuhan air bersih, PDAM Kota Palangka Raya memiliki perencanaan pengembangan jaringan baru. Ada 3 (tiga) alternatif pemodelan pengembangan jaringan distribusi dengan memanfaatkan Intake baru Tumbang Rungan, simulasi model alternatif 1 (satu) daerah pengembangan jaringan baru dengan Intake Lama Sungai Kahayan, alternatif 2 (dua) daerah yang tanpa pengembangan dengan Intake Baru Tumbang Rungan dan alternatif 3 (tiga) daerah pengembangan jaringan baru dengan Intake Baru Tumbang Rungan. Pemilihan dari ketiga alternatif simulasi diambil yang terbaik alternatif 3 (tiga) dengan menambah pompa Booster pada daerah pengembangan berdasarkan kondisi debit, tekanan serta kecepatan aliran yang sudah sesuai dengan syarat perencanaan yang mampu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih di daerah studi. Hasil dari pengembangan jaringan distribusi dengan memanfaatkan intake baru Tumbang Rungan setelah pemasangan 2 buah pompa booster pada daerah pengembangan alternatif 3 (tiga), pada simulasi program Epanet 2.0 terlihat adanya kenaikan tekanan dengan rentang antara 93,77-214,39 maka, kecepatan aliran antara 0,01-2,02 m/s dan debit 0,08 – 20,3 liter/detik. Keberadaan intake baru (600 l/detik) Tumbang Rungan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perluasan jaringan distribusi.
