Abstract

Kehadiran anak ditengah keluarga merupakan sesutu yang didambakan dan dinantikan, namun pada kenyataannya tidak semua anak terlahir sesuai dengan apa yang diinginkan. Ketika apa yang dinantikan bertolak belakang dengan apa yang diinginkan biasanya dapat menimbulkan ketidakpuasan bahkan tidak sedikit yang menjadi depresi. Hadirnya anak berkebutuhan khusus, dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak dengan downsyndrome, ditengah-tengah keluarga dapat menjadi problematika tersendiri yang tidak bisa dihindarkan. Berdasarkan banyaknya kasus orang tua yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menghadapi anak downsyndrome, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu orang tua untuk dapat mengenal, memahami, dan menangani anak mereka sendiri di rumah dengan optimal. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode intervensi dini berbasis keluarga, dimana keluarga berperan banyak dalam penanganan anak karena merupakan inti terpenting dalam pemberian layanan pada anak. Hasil penelitian ini secara signifikan menunjukkan perubahan tidak hanya pada perkembangan kemampuan anak tetapi juga pada sikap orang tua terhadap penanganan anak mereka. Orang tua menjadi lebih terbuka wawasannya tidak hanya dalam pengetahuan tetapi juga dalam keterampilan penanganan anak dengan downsyndrome.

Abstract

This research is motivated by an unattractive learning style, children often feel bored with the old learning process. The lack of media in learning activities is a big influence for children which should be optimized for all aspects of its development, but it is not fulfilled. This study aims to improve fine motor skills through cutting activities with various media in early childhood in group A RA Al-Ikhwan Tasikmalaya. This research was pre-experimental, with Intec-Group Comparison design. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation. Data collection instruments used observation sheets. The results of the measurement was half the group treated, from 8 children found 3 ones or 37.5% developed very well and 5 children or amounted to 62.5% developed as expected. While the results of the measurement of half the group that were not treated as many as 4 children as expected namely 50.0%, 2 children or 25% of children began to develop, and 2 children who have not developed by 25%. Increasing fine motor skills is said to be effective successfully. This improvement was obtained through cutting activities with various media with learning steps, namely: (1) preparing the media and tools used in cutting activities, (2) giving examples of how to cut according to drawing patterns, (3) distributing media and tools used in cutting activities proportionally for each group, (4) children are allowed to do cutting activities with various media in accordance with the example given by the teacher.

Abstract

Oral language skills are very important developments in early childhood. One way to optimize expressive language for early childhood can be done using the field trip method. Field trips are an active learning method to observe the world from a direct perspective and the real world. The author uses quantitative research by conducting a pre-experimental design method of type one group pretest-posttest (single group initial test-end test). The results of the pretest and posttest obtained that the average value increased after being given treatment, namely the average pretest was 9.4 while the posttest average was 21,867 with a difference of 12,467. After the field trip the ability to master new vocabulary increased, more courageous in their opinion, as seen before the activity the percentage of children's abilities increased by 9,4% to 21,9%.
