Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan karakteristik pulau-pulau kecil di Kota Pariaman dan 2) mengetahui potensi wisata pantai pulau kecil di Kota Pariaman Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan data secara observasi dan dokumentasi. Metode deskriptif dilakukan untuk menjelaskan karakteristik pulau-pulau kecil di kota pariaman. Sampel diambil berdasarkan populasi yaitu Pulau Kasiak, Pulau Angso Duo, Pulau Tangah dan Pulau Ujung . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1) karakteristik pulau-pulau kecil di Kota Pariaman yaitu: (a) Kecerahan perairan di Pulau-pulau kecil Kota Pariaman Pulau Kasiak 10 m, pulau Angso Duo 5 m, Pulau Tangah 15 dan Pulau Ujung 25 m. (b) Kecepatan arus di pulau-pulau kecil Kota Pariaman yaitu pulau kasiak 8,96 m/dt, pulau angso duo 8,12 m/dt, Pulau Tangah 12,75 m/dt dan pulau Ujung 16,85 m/dt. (c) Gelombang di Pulau-pulau kecil Kota Pariaman ketika pasang ± 60 cm dan musim surut 84 cm. (d) Suhu di Pulau pulau-pulau kecil Kota Pariaman 27-320C. (e)Tutupan lahan di Pulau: bangunan, kelapa, hutan, semak belukar (f) Sarana dan prasaran: pulau kasiak: gapura, pos jaga, jalan setapak, Pulau Angso Duo pondok wisata, kuburan panjang, mushalla, sumur, jalan setapak, wc, Pulau Tangah tempat berkemping, mata air / sumur pulau ujung tidak sarana dan prasarananya. (g) Aksesibilitasnya yaitu mengunakan boad. 2) Potensi wisata pulau yang ada di pulau kecil yaitu seperti: menyaksikan penangkaran penyu, kemping, memancing dan menyelam. Abstract

Aims of this research was to describe how junior high school of education unit service selected by students who are domiciled in Subdistrict Kuranji and reasons of students in choosing the education level of junior high school. This research is descriptive research with quantitative approach. The population of this research is the junior high school students residing in Kuranji district by the 8094 people. Withdrawal of samples using a proportional random sampling with a total of 98 people. Data were collected through interviews using questionnaires, then a descriptive analysis techniques and using percentage. This research found that service units selected by the Junior High School education students at Kuranji Subdistrict tend to be balanced between the select service in the districts and are outside the district, namely, 52 percent chose education service located in Sub Kuranji, while 48 percent chose education service outside the Sub Kuranji. The reasons students choose a JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL in the district, the vast majority choose because it's close to home. For students choosing junior high school lies outside the district, most of the memlih due to the popularity and the school's accreditation, and encouragement of parents.
